I couldnt find a Crysis 2 thread anywhere..:hmmm:
ALso wasnt this game appearing on the ps3 as well?

Anyways:

Crysis 2 Xbox 360 multiplayer beta footage looks rather good

Some Xbox 360 closed beta footage of Crysis 2’s multiplayer has popped up on YouTube, and we’ve posted it for your below.

The beta is being considered more of a stress test than anything, but watching the video, it looks like the console is handling it rather well.

So far, the beta is exclusive to Xbox 360 “this time around” but community members of the MyCrysis site can register for further testing.

Crysis 2 hits the US on March 22, and Europe on March 25 for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

looks pretty sick! i think ill be getting this for ps3, as it should look a lot better on it. Never played Crysis 1 since im not a pc gamer though. Kind of reminds me of Resistance.

Well I played it on the pc once at a friends house...Its really nice you can use stealth and all but I didnt get to see the storyline much etc..

Gameplay is like any other FPS imo...

I like the stealth so much but imo thats the only thing that interests me...even the MP seems so standard..its getting old...

I hope the storyline makes up for it..campaign...

What really sucks is that Crysis 1 is going to look better than Crysis 2 in terms of graphics because the graphics had to be dummed down for the console ports. (Sorry, laddies. It's quite the proven fact that when it comes to performance and graphical quality, consoles cannot hang. :sad3: )

However, I wonder if the PC version of Crysis 2 will look better than it's predecessor... :hmmm: If not, I can only imagine that the PC modding community will mod it to hell and back until it does. To this day, Crysis 1 remains the best looking video game on the market, surpassing the graphical quality of even FFXIII. That's the standard that Crysis 2 is being set. I hope they can pull it off. :gasp:

Funny though, even though Crysis 1 was made in 2007, it still looks better than games being released today.

Crysis 2 continues to look impressive

Here are a few new screenshots from the single-player portion of Crysis 2. Crytek really knows how to build a city -- and then demolish it in just the right way -- if the fallen Statue of Liberty arm is any indication.

I wonder. How long does it take to put together these screenshots that accentuate a game's visual prowess? Because the way the character in the image above is lifting one leg sure doesn't look like it happened by accident. And, you have to imagine such a manly pose took quite a while to craft.

Alternatively, you can simply stare at these 'shots for a few seconds and continue on your way. I recommend doing that, honestly.

C2-Reviews-Rounded-Up.jpg
With Crysis 2 on store shelves today, the game’s review embargo has officially been lifted and we’ve rounded up the scores. The general consensus says the game is swell, with its lowest score being a 7 and its highest reaching a perfect 10.
CVG, who gave it a 9.1/10, call it “the best looking FPS ever” and praise its “fantastic, free-form combat” and “promising multiplayer”. Giant Bomb, who awarded it a 4/5, say its “a high-quality shooter, both alone or in multiplayer.”
The (constantly updated) list of reviews is below. Additionally, a comparison between the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game can be seen at Lens of Truth. They look damn near identical.
