It's an old film but has anyone seen it? It's really amazing. The plotline is -

Sebastian (Ryan Phillipe) is in love with his step-sister, Katherine (Sarah michelle Gellar) however, she won't sleep with him, although she leads him on, so he challenges her, if he can seduce Annette (Reese witherspoon) the local virgin, he gets Katherine, if he can't seduce her, Katherine gets his car. While Sebastian is trying to win over Annette, Katherine is busy trying to make a new rich girl Cecile (Selma blair) look like a slut, and destroy her reputation, as she stole Katherines old boyfriend - although Cecile doesn't know that, and believes Katherine is her "best friend."

Cruel intentions has a very famous scene, which Channel 4 voted number 2 of the "sexiest scenes of all time" - beaten by that James Bond girl in the bikini - where Katherine kisses Cecile -

I saw this movie when I heard Sarah Michelle Gellar. She was one of my favorite actresses when it first came out so of course I saw it. That kiss scene is hot too.

At times the movie was too dramatic which made it seem a little unbelievable to me
 
I remember this movie. Like Bei, I was also a new fan of Gellar because of her famous role as Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Cruel Intentions made me laugh a few times, but overall it was really kinda sad - just the ending part though.
 
Great film. Afterall who can forget the memorable song Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve?

I was also one of the many fan girls of Gellar because of Buffy. Amazing show. Too bad Angel was canceled.

There's a second part to the first Cruel Intentions. To summarize the plot, you learn how Sebastian became the man he became to be and why Katherine was the little.. bitch for a lack of a better word.

It was in a way interesting, but there was nothing new. Felt like a big disappointment.
 
i thought it was good, dont think id go so far as to say it was great. but the ending was really sad.

i actually though the placebo song was better than bittersweet symphony
 
I only wanted to see if for Sarah Michelle Gellar aswel (being a huge buffy fan) she was an absolute BITCH in this and I really quite enjoyed the mad little goings on between her and her step brother

That kiss tho, I was like wtf O.O rewind let me see it again!!
 
I've seen all of these, but a long time ago and can hardly remember anything but who was in them.

I just remembered the movie the other day after watching Lady Gaga's Paparazzi music video where she hides drugs in the ring on her finger and I remembered Serah Michelle Gellars necklace from Cruel Intentions.

I remember the scene where she was teaching Selma Blair I think how to ride a horse or something.

Going to buy all three movies and watch them again. I think number three is a prequel to the first two.
