My sister, my nephew, and I go to the mall this weekend because my sister got her tax refund. We turn onto the exit, where there's a stoplight with two other cars waiting there. We're sitting there, and then, all of a sudden, there's this car with lady talking on her cell and not watching the road coming up right behind us. Of coure, she didn't stop in time. She slams into us, we hit the car in front of us, and they hit the car in front of them. I bash my head on the dashboard. I'm lucky that I was wearing my seatbelt, or else I may have gone through the winshield, and probably not in a hilarious GTA IV-type of way. Since I was the only person who had some type of injury, they had to send an ambulance anyway. -__- There were a total of 5 state cops, a DOT worker, two fire trucks, and the ambulance. I had to tell 10 different people that I was absolutely fine. I had what felt like a migrane the rest of the day and felt dizzy in well-lit stores. Now my neck and shoulders hurt.

So What I ask is this: Have any of you been in a car accident/crash?

Sounds like Whiplash & abit of concussion to me :gasp:

And no Ive never been in a car crash. Had a few near misses on my scooter though. Once was party due to me being careless, other time some stupid woman pulled out on me without warning and another time I was changing lane and some tosser flew past me doing about 100 ph, I was doing about 60. It was so close my bike wobbled. Don't think Ive ever shit myself so much in my life. They would have been scraping me off the road for days

This crash tore the lady's car up pretty bad. I keep checking the paper every day to see if it makes the police stories. XD

That night, Andy kept asking me nonsense, just to see if my mind was still working all right. He said, for example, "Speaking of vampires, Michael has some Evan Williams up there." And I'm like, "What do vampires have to do with whiskey?" XD it was sweet of him, though.

Sorry to hear that. =/ Yeah your neck and shoulders will definitely hurt for a few days.

And yes I was involved in a car accident last month with my four-year-old daughter and in-laws, the day that I flew back in to California from Ohio. My daughter and I just got off the plane and about 30 minutes later, got into an accident on the freeway. My step-father-in-law was driving and this Ford truck suddenly stopped right in the middle of the freeway. (Three cars had apparently stopped in front of him and drove off when the accident happened). We tried to break and by the time we had hit the back of the truck, we were only going 20 mph, thank goodness.

This was a very small compact car we were in, and to have hit that big truck was still a big impact on us all, especially my daughter. I had saw it coming and I was sitting in the back-middle seat, so I twisted my body to cover my daughter and that did not help my neck and back at all. Naturally my daughter started crying and she had a whiplash as well. I saw a red line going down across on the bottom of her chin and I felt like I was going to cry. It was both our very first accident.

In the end we were all fine and the ambulance came just to make sure we were feeling okay. I was sore for a few days but my daughter was fine since she didn't really complain about hurting afterwards. She was probably more shocked than anything. The driver of the Ford felt really bad but it barely made a dent on his truck, whereas the car was kinda screwed up (driver's seat wouldn't open and the hood was raised up). But yeah, it really sucked because we were on our way to get some new furniture for our new apartment and I was already tired from the plane trip and all the packing a few weeks before. That was quite a day, that's for sure.

Yea, its midway through November and I'm in the middle of watching a Penn State game when all of a sudden I realize we're out of milk. So I decide to be nice and run out at halftime to grab some. Zip zip across the bridge goes Aztec and into the Sheetz parking lot. As soon as I pull up, a fucking line of cars form behind me... a box truck starts backing up in front of me... and the dumbest fucking cunt of a hebrew beside me starts backing up. I lay into the horn like a madman and the douche just drifts back into me. Crack all the way up my fucking passanger side door. I got out, called him a jew, got his info and left. My lazy ass still has yet to get the door repaired but the insurance check is still good for another month...

I don't drive, but I've been in a few minor crashes. Luckily no one has ever gotten hurt in the crashes I've been in. the most memorable crash was when my friend was turning into my street and his car spun out and crashed into the curb. Luckily we were all fine and amazingly his car escaped with pretty much no damage what so ever.

Yes I have.

It was a month after I got my license, I was driving home from work and it was raining. Well I look down for one second to change the radio, and when I look up cars are stopped up ahead and coming up fast. I slam the brakes, but because it was raining I just slid right into the back of a car. My car and the one I ran into were both totaled, and for some odd reason I could never find my glasses when they flew off me in the crash. Luckily me or the other guy wasnt hurt, and he didnt sue me either. I think the only bad thing besides the accident that happened was that I didnt have a cell phone at the time so I had no way to get a hold of anybody. I had to wait a good 3 hours before someone came and picked me up. It just sucked. -__-

I did when I was little. Though the only thing I remember about it is that despite the totaled car the radio still worked. This was after it went rolling off the streat sending doors and weels everywhere. That and my brothers got to get in a fire truck while my mom talked to the police.

I haven't actually been in a proper crash but I've been very close, twice. One when we were coming down a bank at about 80/90mph when some dickwad decided to overtake on a blind bend which means he was on the wrong side of the road, so we had to quickly swerve and we clipped wing mirrors and wiped them clean off, inches any further to the left and I'd have been killed without a doubt.

The other one happened a few weeks ago, though less of a close call when we were on the motorway and the car on the other side of the road clipped something, flipped and hit the car 3 or 4 cars behind us and set alight, the road was closed for god knows how long and there were absolutely shitloads of police, ambulances, fire engines etc.
Both were pretty shaky event. :(

My college has two entrances, with three parking lots in the back/side and a huge curving road connecting everything. I was pulling out of the side parking lot onto the road, and didn't see/look and slammed into another car. I did like $2200 damage to her car, and don't have collision on mine so I never bothered to get an estimate, but had to replace my headlight for like $200.

I've been in one and witnessed one.

We were going straight across a small roundabout and a car from the left came straight into the side of the car (my side, I was in the front passenger seat). I saw it happen - the woman was looking behind her when she pulled out, slammed into the side of the car, dented it and ran off down the road. Stupid cunt ended up charged for driving without any insuriance and whilst under the influence. xD

Second time I simply saw happen - looked out the living room window, saw my dad's car parked outside, a wacko speeding down a 20mph road at no less than 100mph slammed into the back of it...it ended up a good few hundred yards down the road. It had been hit so hard that toe stereo hit the back window and went straight through it. <_<

I've been in one once, I was in the back on the driver's side and we were driving past the crossroads at the bottom of my street, and a car which was going uphill drove right into my door. >_> I think the driver must have had the sun in her eyes or something. We were all okay (though I was crying because of the shock >_>) but the car was not.. had to get written off. Quite gutting really since we'd only had it 3 weeks and drove all the way down to Manchester to get it. :wacky:

I was in a car accident when I was in year four I think.

We were driving in one lane and then this car pulls out of the other lane going the oppoite way in an attempt to overtake the cars that were STOPPED in front of him and he pummels into us!

Our car was written off and me and my mum had injuries.

We got a pay out for it too, which in turn paid for my first car when I was old enough to access the money.

The lastest one was with me and Steve in my car.

There was three lanes all together. He was in the far lane on the right and then decided that he was going to pull into the left lane over and at the same time another car in the far left lane decided to merge right and clipped the front of my car.

Wasn't a bad collision or anything, but it was still scary. <_<
