Contest Prizes?

As I mentioned in another thread, I would like to do a fun contest here to spark activity and give back to the members that have helped to make this forum what it is today. So, what kind of contest prizes would you like to see? Let's keep them under $100 or so. I would love to hear your feedback and ideas!
 
What real prizes under 100 dollars?
That would be cool but who would send the money?
It also depends on what kind of contest it is
 
you also need to explain what kind of prizes these are, are they some kind of extra feature on a persons account or a delivery of some sort like ps2 games or something?
 
Yes, I am wanting your help in determining what kind of physical products would serve as cool prizes for a contest that I will come up with. :)

I am just wanting to know what you guys and gals like? Gadgets? Certain Games?
 
Not quite sure if ! can trust anyone with a real address.
But ps2 games or some sort would be cool.

But don't you think that the fact that member already acknowledge your skill in winning the contest is prize enough?
 
well, how about merchandise of the winning person or persons choice? such as statues (obviously not life size) or posters or music?

thats the sort of thing I would like

as well as that, what kind of contests would they be? having ones based on photoshop for instance can be unfair on people who do not have access to photoshop

so, what kind of contests could they be?
 
FF merchandise would be awesome, and it ties in with the FF theme of the site.

Although, you really don't have to spend money on real life prizes, although its really nice of you ^_^ Prizes could be like...More PM space..Bigger signiture sizes...Exclusive moods and stuff made only for you, yadda yadda.

Yeah, physical things sent to us is great in its concept and all but I'm not sure I support this all the way. :P

I agree with AG though, something not physical, but just profile rewards or something else.
 
OK, we can work on the intangible things as well. So larger avatars, more PM space, things to mod your profile, what else?

As for the contests, they can be both techy and non-techy. Post contests, character article contests, freehand art contests, dress-up your pet contets (must post a picture), all of these would work!
 
but how will they get to their house?

as far as I can remember we didn't give our adresses out in signing up here :wacky:

The contests can begin as soon as we figure out what the prizes will be and what the contests will be. This is still brainstorming session time!

Now back to some thunder and lightning!
 
To be honest, I'd rather have a cash prize but I'm just a little apprehensive at giving out my bank details...
So bigger PM inbox, more signature allowances and stuff like that is what interests me more. Not that any of those interest me much either. A second usertitle line would be good. :monster:
I'm happy just to be acknowledged as a winner really. Nice idea overall though.
 
Idea for a contest...kinda XD

remember earlier in the year when BustaMo ran the FFF awards? How about you do it again now, and let people vote on the catagorys and make their own and stuff and then the winners can have a Star added to their profile or something...

Or if someone wins SOTW so many tiems they could get a little star added to their profile too, it might encourage more people to enter it too ^_^
 
and there is also the problem that if someone under the age of 18 or 16, whatever age it is wins? you need parental consent and stuff for that don't you? so really forum based prizes are best
