Such an awkward title to word >.> Anyways, I've had this thread in mind for a while now, just never had the time to post it up. Since we're now near the festive season that is Christmas, games with be released left, right and centre which is always good for us.
In this thread basically discuss which games you're going to get and why you want them, games that you're contemplating buying but are on the the fence whether to purchase them or not or ask questions on specific games which could ultimately decided whether you choose to purchase!
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Definitely getting.
I think the title speaks for itself really, especially to those who previously played Modern Warfare. MW2 is without a doubt the hottest release of the year and is already expected to sell $500 million worth in 1 week. Everything looks improved and hopefully they'll have nailed the storyline because the storyline in Modern Warfare was short, but it was pretty amazing. MW2 will probably the most played online game until summer next year at the very least.
Assassins Creed II
Definitely getting.
Another one of those games that the title sells the game really. From what I've read it's supposed to have greatly improved from Assassins Creed which I hope it has. Whilst Assassins Creed still remains one of my favourite games on the whole, the gameplay became so repetitive it's stupid, everything from the sidemissions to the actual storyline missions just felt the same every time. The AI has supposedly become more clever as well which is always a good thing, I just hope they're a little more difficult to beat >.>
Pro Evolution Soccer 2010
Definitely getting.
I'm still a FIFA fan through-and-through but I think the game certainly looks improved from PES2009 though I never purchased it personally. The official Champions League mode probably sold it for me, it looked extremely impressive and I'm a sucker for things that look impressive. I think what else sold it for me was the actual gameplay, whilst PES may be trailing behind FIFA now Pro Evo is solely about gameplay which will be refreshing to see.
Ratchet & Clank: A Crack In Time
Definitely getting.
I think everyone likes R&C, I haven't looked too much into this title but if the last PS3 R&C is anything to go by then this definitely gets a thumbs up from me.
Borderlands
On the fence - leaning more towards getting it
Originally, I wasn't even thinking about getting this title, I didn't even bat an eyelid at the title because I didn't think it would interest me. However, having looked into in a bit more depth, both on here, GAME website and PS3Trophies I think I'm going to get it. It was described as a bit of Fallout 3 and Bioshock with a pinch of Final Fantasy though I presume the latter is the RPG element. Looks like a solid title mind.

I'll just list what games I can think of off the top of my head. Even if I am forgetting a game or two, it'll cover the majority... X_x
