Christmas adverts in the UK!

So guys. Christmas is, once again upon us. The coca-cola advert says so! :)
What adverts make you feel christmasy?
The first time I felt christmasy was earlier with the John Lewis advert with
This in!

Wrong time, not wrong place. Thanksgiving is next week. Plus, I'm in the US. Haha, but as for me; I plan on visiting my aunt and cousin again in New Jersey for Winter Break, since we love to go there. Mainly because around where I live, people have a completely different idea of Christmas, and so I really don't want to be around them this year - so me and my grandma are leaving the state for a while. We may even get a side stop to Texas while we're out. It'll be exciting, I know that .
But as for adverts, it's not really the adverts that make me feel Christmas-like - hell, I can't even think of any I've seen besides huge sale commercials in popular stores, but mostly the atmosphere I'm in. It always depends on the surroundings I'm standing in the middle of, since I can always feel like the holidays have come when I'm standing in a warm room filled with fall-scented candles and what not .

I forgot you guys have Thanksgiving first!! Well I say I forgot, I had no idea when thanksgiving was!
Of course we get the stupid "christmas sales" ads, but the ones like the coca-col ad and the John Lewis one are really christmasy!!
 
well he did the say the UK not the US afterall.

Has to be the coca cola advert every year. Ever since i was a kid the coke advert has been on every christmas, ofc its been updated and that but its the one i alwyas remember. The irn bru advert with the snowman is pretty good aswell, though its got a bit old now. Still gives me a laugh every year though.
 
I only wish it was the wrong time, but the Xmas ads have been on for weeks, saw the coca cola ad for the first time last night

we don't have Thanksgiving so to us in the UK, like he said, it doesn't apply

I hate teh cold, I hate Christmas and I hate Mondays :hmph:

I wouldn't mind it so much if the hype didnt start so early, it completely kills it for me
 
I'm with Kelly. The hype comes too early and kills it.

And I'm with Lewis, I love the Coca-Cola advert. You just know Christmas is just around the corner when that comes on and I believe it was on the other night, which is pretty early. The advert's been updated, but I much prefer the one where you see the little girl and then she gets older each year whenever she sees Father Christmas. Then she hands him the bottle of Coke one year. I like it, it reminds me of my childhood.
 
Yeah the coca-cola advert was on during x-factor or something. I'm assuming it was because my facebook was going crazy with people saying it was on and I doubt very much that many of those people have much in common.
I love the coca-cola ad but I haven't seen it yet :(.
 
I saw the advert this afternoon...its pretty much the same as the last one I think, but it just wouldn't be Christmas without it ♥

...but...its not even freakin' December yet. I absolutely HATE this about Christmas. The second Halloween ends, the Christmas decorations go up in shops, and I'm thoroughly sick of it even before December gets here.

I remember last year (or was it the year before that?) they had a Garmin SatNav advert to Carol of the Bells...that was a pretty good advert. At least, it was the first three or so times I saw it.
 
I love the Christmas adverts... but only in the week before Christmas. Now whenever the adverts come off, I end up shrieking "BUT IT'S NOVEMBER!" and getting quite grumpy about it.

I love Christmas, it's the one time of the year that it's fun to be with the family and everything, but, I loathe the run-up to it. I wouldn't mind if it was restricted to December only, but when all the shops have Christmas decorations and play Christmas music in November, it gets very grating very quickly.

there arent that many ads that make it feel christmasy. the coca cola and the irn bru are all i can think of.

but this one's interesting cause theyve had the same winter sale on for about 10 years.
