So, I was drinking chocolate milk not too long ago...and thought "wonder if there is a difference between this and the powder?" lol.

I guess my question to you is, do you like the powder or the syrup better? Cuz it's easier or because it taste better?

Explain your answer.

Powder, because chocolate syrup doesn't taste like chocolate. It's too dark, but too sweet, and leaves a crappy taste in my mouth. Also, the layer left in the bottom of the glass after the milk is a pain in the ass to wash away.

I like both... but lately I've been more partial to the syrup. Thing is you can't totally compare the two because the flavor isn't even trying to be the same. ike Hershey owns Nesquik, but they are seperate entities. I've even seen a specific Nesquik syrup once.

Powder is the best.. You can mix it up properly. I used to have syrup and I remember it feeling really sweet, and getting stuck everywhere.. Not properly mixing with the milk.

Lol. I kinda like both, but the powder makes my throat itch. >____<;; what a pain. Plus I spill it quite often on the side of the cup. =/.

Syrup is easier and I grew up with it. So, I'd choose it. I like having it a bit sweeter.

I don't really care either way. As long as I mix it right it pretty much ends up tasting good.

If not then you end up with grainy milk (powder) or cup gunk at the bottom (syrup).

To me the two taste the same since I don't drink chocolate milk much, so the long drought between intakes makes me forget the specifics of the taste.

Not really sure. I think my favorite kind of chocolate milk is the powdery Cookie's & Cream kind, but I haven't had/seen that in years.

The syrup isn't too bad, but it does get the bottom of your cup all syrupy and all when your finished. Just another excuse for me to have one more cup of milk to rinse it out. ;)

I always use powder and milk when I make hot chocolate. As for milkshake, I find that the powder has more flavour, although with some of them they don't dissolve properly and you get left with gooey lumps. D:

I don't think I'll really care. Its chocolate either way, and thats good enough for me...

Just a matter of quantity, i guess.

And i really don't think its that difficult to wash off the layer of chocolate that sinks to the bottom... Perhaps because my fingers are long enough to wipe it off when i wash it? It isn't difficult, either way, to me.
