Characters you'd like to be in Dissidia FF

who are the hero characters and villains you want to see in the upcoming PSP game dissidia?

it's said there'll be 10 hero characters in Dissidia w/c only 2 is revealed yet. Zidane and a Warrior of Light from FF1. their villain counterparts would also be present. so far there's Garland from FF1, Kuja and Sephiroth as seen in the trailer. well it's pretty strange that Cloud isn't revealed yet.

I want to see Kefka first of all. hee hee heee :D it's gonna be a real killer(if done right). and then for the heroes, Faris from FF5, Terra, and Celes.
 
i actually want balthier and ashe to be in it.... but they most likely won't put them in

hmm... i want yuna, seymour, lulu, Reno from VII
 
It'd be interesting to see a Seymour installation, but I can't see it happening really (most of the villains/characters seem to be veteran combatants... Seymour just has a few magic tricks after he dies).

In terms of character playability indefinitely, I'd love for the likes of Kuja to be available to the player.
 
I'd like to see Sabin, Shadow, or Cyan make an appearance from FFVI. I suppose their counterpart would be Kefka. Obviously, Cloud and Sephiroth are in it which will be nice to see, though Sephiroth seems to be losing his "z0mg" factor =/. I think another Squall - Seifer battle will be good too. Other than that, I'm not too fussed.
 
I'm already ecstatic that Zidane and Kuja are making appearances. I love FFIX and it saddens me that the game is usually under appreciated. Zidane and Kuja are some of my favorite characters too.

I'd like to see appearances from:
Terra (FFVI)
Cyan (FFVI)
Zack (FFVII)
Red XIII (FFVII)
Tifa (FFVII)
Reno (FFVII)


Mostly FFVII characters. XD
 
The fanboy in me really wants Aerith and Tifa to appear so the phrase Aerith VS Tifa will have a whole new meaning XD

I just really want every FF character and villain to be in it. and for all of them to be playable ^_^

I don't want much do i? :P
 
If the FFVII characters do make plentiful appearances, I hope they are NOT in their Advent Children outfits. God those were atrocious.

I'm pretty confuised about how this is gonna turn out coz I havn't seen any screenshots or gameplay videos yet but from the sound of things Its sounding great:)
 
Hmmm...even though they're saying this isn't a "fighter" per se, but more along the lines of Kingdom Hearts, it does look pretty heavy on the ass kicking aspect. Still, here are my picks:

They're many characters id like to see in the game^_^. Kefka, Locke, bartz,Lunneth, Ingus, Refia, arc, Setzer, kuja, edgar, cecil, rosa, rydia, kain, squall, cloud, cid, and..... a chocobo!*_*

Honestly games like these really don't do much for me. Even if it were a console game and had the depth required to make a decent fighter, it would be almost impossible to balance fan-service while still making characters tactically unique. Either different characters would share similar moves or the character roster simply would not fulfill fan's expectations.
 
I'd really like to see all of FF's leading ladies in Dissidia, such as Rinoa, Tifa, Aerith, Yuna, and Garnet. Almost all of the characters revealed so far are guys, so it's high time they threw in some girl power xD

Being the Zack fangirl that I am, I wouldn't mind seeing him in it either ^^
 
just took a look at the confirmed list both Terra and Kefka are in :D

looks like they have pretty much confirmed who is going to be in, so it looks like were going to be guessing on secret characters :P

heres hoping for Celes, Emperor Gestahl, Gilgamesh, Tifa, Rufus and Seifer as the hiddens :D

Gilgamesh I think is the main character people want to see added into this game as a secret character. I would definately love to see him enter the Dissidia fight. Not only because he'd be an awesome fighter, but because it fits in with his dimension hopping activities as well. He is an iconic character in that he is the first truly reccuring FF character (unless you count Gogo from FF6 as the Gogo from FF5).

Other than him characters I'd love (and reasons why they deserve it):
Mog (FF6)- I think playing a moogle would be pretty interesting, and his dance-related moves could be good on the eye. Not sure about an Ex-Mode but to be honest, with some of the main cast before now I wouldn't have been able to think of one for either, yet they have them.

Chocobo - As stated by Darkrul (in another thread) a chocobo related mini game could be good, but perhaps if they weren't to do that then a chocobo as a fighter character could be relatively interesting.... Now if they were to do a Mog from the Chocobo franchise then Mog (depicted as some sort of rival to Chocobo in Chocobo Racing.. sorry guys, only Chocobo game I own) could act as Chocobo's villain counterpart... Though Mog wouldn't be evil, so I guess not. But just a thought.

Vivi - He is by far the most popular Black Mage character in all of Final Fantasy, and he keeps the classic Black Mage look of the early games. I think there would be a lot of support, and want for him to be in the game.

Gau - I think he would be an interesting character to play... Wild, and leaping about making animal noises while doing awesome scratching and other attacks.

I'd also quite like some minor character as well, though that it even more unlikely...
For example, Ultros would be FANTASTIC... Not only because I'm an Ultros fanboy but because he'd be quite interesting to play as well. Tentacle and ink based attacks, leaping around as an octopus and making awesome comments all at the same time. :D.
 
Lol, I second Gau. I swear, he would be the funnest character to play in a fighting game. "Vwaaaooooo!" :P

Vivi, Red XII, VII Cid, and Rydia would be interesting too. Ultros would be fun as well.

Red XIII would be fun to play. I always wanted to play as him and leap about etc. And the game would be good with a dragoon, be it Cid, Kain, Freya, Kimahri... It would be fun whoever they picked if they were to have one.

Possibly though, if they were to pick Cid then they would be killing two birds with one stone. A representative of a dragoon type character (although I guess Dark Knight Cecil can count....) and also a representative of a Cid, and iconic name in the Final Fantasy franchise that as we know so far isn't going to be represented in Final Fantasy Dissidia.

Rydia would be fun, but she would no longer work in this game really, since it it more than likely that summons are available to everybody in the game, so there would be little point to her. If she was in it she wouldn't be able to do many attacks etc and I guess the only point in having her would be for loving fans to say hi.

Same with Yuna and Garnet really.
