We don't need ideas from you d'lain on how to run our staff on FFF. We already have our own ways of doing it. Besides, half the stuff you're posting doesn't make any sense to me...I'm sitting with here with a :confused: expression. I don't know if you trying to give us all this 'advice' on how we should staff people is your way of trying to make yourself look good so you can get a staff position or whatever, but please just stop. We know what we're doing when it comes to staff. We don't need you telling us how staffing needs to be done here.
 
You only need as many section mods as there are sections to look after, really, with the exception of the really busy sections, where two or three might be more appropriate. None of this ration shite.

I still stand by Mandi and Virgil being promoted.
 
Not trying to say how do the staff or anything, but I personally have found in the past that it works pretty well whenever you actually have less section mods and more global mods. That way, no one is tripping over anyone in areas, and it's clear who is responsible for what. More globals is just less confusing and more being done usually then few globals and a lot of miniature mods running around, not being able to spend as much time as they would like in the other sections their not assigned too.
 
I find that our current balance - 2 Section mods to every Gmod works just well. More being done if their were more Gmods? Do you have any idea just how much we section mods do? If there was less of us, and more Gmods, each section becomes less managed, and Gmods have to work harder. It's not "confusing" and theres a lot being done mod-wise.

It's just admin wise that, (until very recently) nothing was being done, at all. Thats why we need LA and Saix to be admins - so simple things, like username changes and changing usergroups for stuff like survivor, and IP banning people, can get done faster and more the whole thing would be more efficient.

d'lain, we appreciate you might well simply be displaying concern and interest in the site, but your suggestions aren't what we're needing at FFF. Whether you're right or wrong, it's requested that you cease to pursue your argument regarding this matter.

Regarding a previous comment from Scriblerian, I do agree that having a series of Global Moderators be the 'mass' of staff, as it were, increases effectiveness. However considering the performance of staff at present, such a thing isn't exactly... necessary. I'd say it would be something to definitely look into for future reference.

What'd be the point in declining? It'd clearly be for the benefit of the site, so opposing that would be kind of... senseless. Yes it also feeds my ego, but that plays a very small part. :P
 
If the public wants someone as an admin, then that person would do a decent job since he/she would have the whole community backing them up.

Same here. I was very surprised to see so many people want to bump me up as well. It was rather unexpected and I didn't really know what to say at first, so I'll just say thank you very much and thank you for the continued support ^_^

well if it is decided on what is going to happen then shouldn't this topic be locked?
 
Having a decision be made, and having people want something are two completely different things. It's the owner's decision entirely.

Well, of course I'd want them both to be bumped up to blue. They're the best two people for the job. :P
 
Or you guys could make a online petition on one of those free petition websites to show how many members actually want this to happen ^_^

People may still have more to add. When we decide it gets locked, it gets locked ok?

But yeah, Saix and LA should be bumped up. You have our support guys.
 
This forum really needs a dedicated admin/adminess (u c wot i did thar? :wacky:) whom the members can rely on and at the moment I see no two people more fit for the job than Saix and Lady Aerith.
