Yea, that was my problem too.I'm not all that big on either one, tbh. Out of the three, I'd have to say Bleach though. It has a decent storyline and a few interesting characters from what I've seen. I've seen only a few episodes of Naruto and One Piece and couldn't get into either one.
All three piss me off, actually. The main characters of all three are extremely similar in that they are bland, ridiculously overpowered, predictable, and they also hog the majority of the screentime, there are maybe two or three characters in the entire cast who are somewhat interesting but are hardly ever shown, the storyline and script sounds like it was written by a five-year-old (or worse, a fanfiction writer) with all the lack of depth and predictability and recycled plotlines pertaining thereunto, and their popularity really, REALLY aggravates me, because it is simply unfathomable. These three are considered by a large majority of people to be the be-all and end-all of anime, when they're just the ones that happen to have the biggest budget, and therefore get around the most.
I vote for the invisible fourth option on the poll. About the only thing I will say is that the manga for all three is slightly more tolerable, due to lack of fillers and lack of voice acting, be it dubbed or subbed.
Y'know when you put it that way, that's another issue I've noticed with Bleach: Ichigo can't really seem to decide on a goal. He settled fairly well with "I just want to protect everyone I can..." in the beginning, and then it went over to "BATTLE BATTLE BATTLE!" during the Arrancar storyline, and now I'm not sure what his goal is. Save Karakura? Protect his friends?I also just prefer the whole 'nakama' (japanese for ally or friends) setting in One Piece which is far stronger than in Bleach.
One Piece (as I said above) is incredibly easy to hate at the outset. It gets better gradually as things go along, really takes off in the Arlong Park series, and is amazing throughout Baroque Works.Well out of those three I would say Bleach. But I like Naruto just as much.
I hate One Piece watched a few episodes and just did not take a liking to it. :/
Hmm yeah I get what you mean, though the characters some what annoyed me ^^; but if it gets better I may have to give it a try ... sometime. xDOne Piece (as I said above) is incredibly easy to hate at the outset. The key is not to expect appearances to match the seriousness of the situation.
