Which is the better manga in story, characters, plot, action, art, or anything else?

bleach is the best of the 3,it has the best storyline,it gets you into it easily, the girls are so beautiful, the fights are amazing but takes a while to see one,an epic fight.

by the way, bleach is currently on filler.

People PLEASE do not spam. I've already had to delete one spammy post. I'd rather not see anymore. Thank you.

I'm not all that big on either one, tbh. Out of the three, I'd have to say Bleach though. It has a decent storyline and a few interesting characters from what I've seen. I've seen only a few episodes of Naruto and One Piece and couldn't get into either one.

Yea, that was my problem too.

I personally say Beach is best. Kubo's got a very unique art style. Usually, manga always make people with bug eyes, in yet, Kubo makes his people at least look human. And the immense amount of detail he puts into his characters and story are insane.

Plus, the action is by far the best in Manga. He never fails.:ohshit:

I grew up watching One Piece, gum-gum punch!
Hasn't been on for years :(
but I might just go and buy it on dvd, I saw most of the episodes.

All three piss me off, actually. The main characters of all three are extremely similar in that they are bland, ridiculously overpowered, predictable, and they also hog the majority of the screentime, there are maybe two or three characters in the entire cast who are somewhat interesting but are hardly ever shown, the storyline and script sounds like it was written by a five-year-old (or worse, a fanfiction writer) with all the lack of depth and predictability and recycled plotlines pertaining thereunto, and their popularity really, REALLY aggravates me, because it is simply unfathomable. These three are considered by a large majority of people to be the be-all and end-all of anime, when they're just the ones that happen to have the biggest budget, and therefore get around the most.

I vote for the invisible fourth option on the poll. About the only thing I will say is that the manga for all three is slightly more tolerable, due to lack of fillers and lack of voice acting, be it dubbed or subbed.

I laughed. :lew: And you are well respected, man. Posting opinion FTW

Anyways, look at my sig. That's all you need to know. I chose One Piece to watch not because I was bored one -day night :wacky:, but because I can see the author's creativity and humour. Oda also blended in some political lessons, and not just violence and fights.

Never seen Bleach. Sorry >_>;; I saw an ad on Stormberry about it, and I think it was picturing the main character, Ichigo (?) and the pic puts me off as he was holding a staff, dressed in what looked like a tradional Japanese robe.

Naruto - :hmmm: It's ninjas. That was my first thought when I saw it when I was younger. And I think my parents put me off it because they said the ninjas were evil, or something like that.

Honestly, I can't give an unbiased opinion since I only saw one of those. But hey, I gave one. :awesome:

Debates always comes up for the Big Three. No surprises there.

Never saw Bleach? It's one of the biggest Manga out there. It's an amazing manga.

I picked Bleach because I can relate to the characters. Ichigo is just a use-to-be regular ol' teenager that got pulled into a world fighting for good against what seems like a great evil.

The characters are hilarious and fun to watch. And Kubo(creator) is great at pulling the reader to the edge of their seats. I mean, I've never hated a character because of how evil they are, but Kubo pulled that off with his God-complex villain, Aizen.

It's truly a great manga.

Had you asked me a year and a half ago; I would have said Bleach.

Now? It's One Piece.

As I see it;

Naruto started out the strongest, and kept its quality on the up until the Chuunin exams. The storyline and characters in the Wave Country arc were formed well and the entire thing was just beautiful. Also; ninja acted like ninja. Then we got the Exams and ninja began acting like Pokemon. Now I only read Naruto to see it all end.

Bleach had a slightly weaker opening, but stayed strong through the Karakura arc and managed to keep things interesting through the Soul Society arc. Then things slid when Kubo decided to go from "Soul Reapers vs. Hollows" to "Soul Reapers with Hollow powers vs. Hollows with Soul Reaper powers" and it all turned into "these guys with swords vs. those guys with swords and no backgrounds".

One Piece had an alright start, but one of the most easy-to-hate art styles I've ever seen. Pushing beyond that however, it's been well paced for one of the Big Three and despite oddities here and there in the plot, everything in it has remained diverse/unique enough that it hasn't felt repetitive yet. I know it's not as popular as the other two, but I do consider it the best of them.

never really got into Naruto, so it's between Bleach and One Piece for me.

it's difficult, cos i preferred Bleach at first but One Piece just keeps getting better. they both have great characters and a great setting.

like the post just above, i probably will have to go with One Piece; whilst Bleach is awesome and Byakuya is one of my all-time favourite anime characters, One Piece just seems to have every emotion; funny, sad, angry, desperation etc. its one of the very few mangas i like to reread over and over, and i have a liking for every single character. i also just prefer the whole 'nakama' (japanese for ally or friends) setting in One Piece which is far stronger than in Bleach.

Y'know when you put it that way, that's another issue I've noticed with Bleach: Ichigo can't really seem to decide on a goal. He settled fairly well with "I just want to protect everyone I can..." in the beginning, and then it went over to "BATTLE BATTLE BATTLE!" during the Arrancar storyline, and now I'm not sure what his goal is. Save Karakura? Protect his friends?

Now on one hand he could be turning into Guts lite with "face and defeat all enemies", but even Guts has a clearly defined selection of who those enemies are.

By contrast Naruto's gone from "Become Hokage" to "Save Sasuke" to "Kill Sasuke and die with him".

Luffy's at least held fairly strong on "Become King of the Pirates".

I dont like where bleach is heading at lately, the recent chapters suck except when hat and clogs comes. The fight with aizen is a big chat and debate, i wanna see yammy in hueco muendo,he kicks ass!

Well out of those three I would say Bleach. But I like Naruto just as much.
I hate One Piece watched a few episodes and just did not take a liking to it. :/
One Piece (as I said above) is incredibly easy to hate at the outset. It gets better gradually as things go along, really takes off in the Arlong Park series, and is amazing throughout Baroque Works.

The key is not to expect appearances to match the seriousness of the situation.

Hmm yeah I get what you mean, though the characters some what annoyed me ^^; but if it gets better I may have to give it a try ... sometime. xD

Im choosing Bleach as Naruto sucks major arse, cant stand it! One Piece, Ive never been too wowed on. Bleach is an anime Ive liked for years. Great characters and a good story and I <3 Ichigo.

bleach for me...

i like its storyline, the characters, their powers and its balance of comedy and action

For the anime of bleach I like where its heading now,the characters that are ignored in the manga have their filler moments to give them character development, such as chad, he has not been in the manga for ages now and in the anime he has extra time ^_^ after when the manga goes back to hm I expect to see more of chad in filler moments. LA MUERTE!!
