FFF Singing Contest 2011​

Let’s give this a shot, shall we? The last singing competition (FFF Idol) we had on the site was back in 2007, with 6-7 entries. We’re hoping to top that this year. Or maybe we won’t receive any entries at all, but who knows! It’s Birthweek, anything can happen.

This year we’ll make the competition a little lax and comfortable at least. Not too many rules and restrictions, so don’t worry about it being a formal competition. You choose a song you’d like to sing from the list (made sure there’s plenty) and even get a partner or two to sing with you. You can have music in the background if you prefer, or do vocals only. You can even play an instrument while you sing or have someone else do it. Last but not least, if you are involved in a duet, you can sing more than one song in the list.

There is one requirement though. The recording must be for at least a minute. You don’t have to sing the full song. After you finalize the recording (audacity is a great program to remove original vocals), upload the song to youtube.

Submit entries to me no later than June 6.

Edit: I'm dumb. HAVE to pick from there. And here I was covering part of a song I liked, uploading it to a newly made youtube channel JUST for this. I'm retarded... Don't know any of the songs on the list. Wish we could've picked our own things... Oh well... I should've read it clearly... -.- This suuuucks.

I'll allow it, especially since a lot of the songs on the list were request from members anyway. So if it means it'll garner more entries, then by all means, have at it. xD

I will enter as soon as James plays it on his Ukelele. Until that time I have no backing music. I do not have a three and a half octave range so I will not sing a capella.
