I searched for a thread, but there wasn't one and since this is coming out pretty soon, I thought I'd make one.

Basically, this is a modern Beauty and the Beast film based off the book of the same name. I haven't seen a good romance for a long time and I think I'll give it a shot. Think I'm liking the second trailer more than the first, but meh.

It was originally meant to be released last July, but they wanted to push it back to March to avoid a clash with Zac Efron's Charlie St. Cloud film.

It looks good. Even though it's got the likes of Vanessa Hudgens in it, I think she'll be bearable and I'm surprised with the lack of makeup she has in it. Anyone else going to be seeing this?

I love Beauty and the Beast so this is definitely a movie for me.

And that Charlie St. Cloud film never even went to the cinemas here.

Just went straight to the video store. Musta been crap.

 

[Sexy Beast]

I've seen the trailer to this a week ago or so, and though I may be a guy, I quite like the look of it. It definitely looks like one of the better teen-romance movies.

So I saw this about a week ago and it was pretty good.

Though I have to say, it was a bit predictable. It didn't seem like she was all that into him. But then right at the end she was? I mean she smiled at him a lot and fell asleep on his shoulder once or twice but it didn't seem anything more than a friendship.

He says 'I love you' way too soon. Maybe to try and get out of the spell quicker, or maybe it was meant to be genuine but it was thrown in far too early in the script. I didn't find myself believing him at all. =/

It was a bit too rushed for my liking.

Good movie but I think it could have been directed a little better. =/
