Barbie with build in video camera

more than likely the quality is gunna be complete garbage anyway. I think nowadays kids are more interested in gadjets like ipods mobile fones, games consoles than they are in dolls.

Which is probably why they're doing such an odd move as to put a camera into a Barbie. :hmmm:

It's honestly a little freaky in my opinion.

Creepy. Just totally creepy. Period. I mean what if some stranger got a hold of that thing? And who plays with barbie anymore anyway? xD

Now Barbie allows anyone to be a stalker! That's right, little tiffany, you too! You can stalk your teachers, boys at school, or even your parents! But wait! If you order now, you can get the special zoom feature!

It's getting harder to live a private life, no?

Yeah, this is exactly what I was thinking--moreso than some pedo getting hold of it (which if someone like that is close enough to your kid to touch their Barbie, then I think there are bigger problems at hand), I immediately thought of kids using it to spy on other kids, brother, sister, parents, etc. I mean how embarrassing would it be if they "left it in a room by accident" where they knew sex would be going on, and then taped you, and then used it for blackmail or perved over it or something? o_O I get that kids have access to cameras and stuff, but if you see an electronic device these days like a phone, you can pretty much guarantee there's going to be a camera in it, and if you see one in the room you can get rid of it before you do anything conspicuous. But you normally wouldn't expect one to be hidden in a doll.

I wasn't necessarily talking about pedos. Just any grown up friends your parents might have. My mom's brother accidentally took one of my stuffed toys in his car home when I was little. I left it there when we went out to eat or something. It would be embarrassing for anyone to get a hold of it. Not just a pedo >.>

Also I don't get why it says (Software is for Windows/PC only) Yet shows the Macintosh and Universal logos on the bottom of the page. Talk about confusing your customers!

And do they know that PC (Mean IBM-PC clone) can only be a computer running Windows? When I go out to a store and buy a peace of software for my Dell it doesn't mean its going to work on the PC out of the box if I have Ubuntu installed -_-

Talk about a clumsy page and a horrible product.

I tried to see the good in this and say "maybe it'll protect them from thieves or mean people in general" but the more I thought about it, the more I realized it's a bad and creepy move. I should ask my aunt what she thinks of this. Barbie dolls were her world for about 10 years. I wonder how she would feel about it. I know that I personally don't like the idea.
