We all know about racial stereotypes; don't pretend you don't. We all hear about white people being stuck up, blacks complaining about 200 year old slavery, latino border hoppers working at home depot...
The stereotypes are all there, whether you choose to admit it or not. Take a look below and read the rules.

This has nothing to do with flamatory intent. This thread is to be used as a debate source in accordance to FFFs own admittingly stereotypical members.

After a lengthy journey through urban dictionary.com, I've come up with a stereotypical list.

There are 6 different racial groups listed below as well as their own specific social stereotypes. Find your racial group and read the stereotypes. If you find that at least 3 of the listed stereotypes pertain to you, then check the corresponding "I'm a ____ stereotype" bubble and sumbit your vote!

Before you submit your vote, be sure to contribute to the thread and add any additional stereotypes that are not already listed.

As listed according to Alphabetical Order:

I am not 18, but I am mature enough to understand why this thread exists. Feel free to delete my post if you guys wish, but I will contribute nevertheless.

I am not a stereotype of white people. I actually crave fights now, but I do work out a lot. ;D

Anyways, you forgot to add "I try and act gangster even though I am Rich" as a white person thing. And by act, I mean speak the lingo.

I'd say I'm pretty much a white stereotype to a certain extent %D

I don't wear spandex, I'm not a redneck, I don't have spinners, and my ass sure as hell isn't naturally flat, but the rest is pretty much true xD

I have another one for Asian: "You look the similar to your friends/family"

Goes along with the "They all Look the Same" comments.

Anyways I do have a question:

Does peer pressure account for stereotypes (Does peer pressure make us do stereotypes)? Or do we just naturally flow into them (Find our own way into them)?

I should've rephrased that question. Ugh, oh well. I sort of meant to say, "does peer pressure account for stereotypes?" xD.

Forgive me. I am tired. In fact, I am going to edit that post. >.>

I can't relate to a single stereotype there to be honest. I'm a generic British stereotype, in the sense that I'm stubborn, snooty, and darn right rude. I'm well spoken, and (without trying to sound arrogant) am quite intelligent.

I'd probably look down on people who talk funny. And by "funny," I mean slang. I've been brought up by a bunch of racists, so I've not really had a choice on how I act...

although I am white, I'd have to go with black stereotype, since I have 5 or 6 of those, which is more than the others....

Even if I'm half Asian and half Caucasian, I'm still proud to say that I do not fit either stereotype. *nod*

...even the whole math thing. I hate math. x_x

EDIT; ...and I just noticed you had Jewish up there. Judaism is a religion, not a race. <_<

I don't fit under any stereotype on there, so I guess thats good.

And yes, Judaism is a religion, I have no idea why they refer to themselves as a race.

i am not a stereotype of caucasian. im actually glad that im not. im from london but have lived in essex all my life (please no jokes!) so i kinda fit into my own catagory!

yea that and the fact they only have the bad ones for white people well sorta they are really for everyone the artist writers and all that stuff and then there is what i am a person who gets along with everyone cept the odd people

i am a mutt of stereotypes, but mostly black, with hints of hispanic and white, maybe some asian thrown in :P

I fall under the Asian category, but I don't represent any of those listed.

Hmm, something to add...I know that A LOT of Asians own a karaoke, or that they love to go singing. For instance, Japanese loves to hang out at karaoke bars after school. It's almost like a tradition of some sort. Most Filipinos own one of those magic sing-along karaoke where they give out scores based on your singing performance.

aside from karaoke, i would say that speaking "engrish" is the biggest part of an asain stereotype, do you speak it? :P
