You know someone that likes to complete thier games 100% whenever it is possible to do so.

I know I am cuz I like to get full value for money for my games so to speak. Ya know stretch out the game time by doing everything that you can possibly do in a game.

Admitteldy I do it for all games and not just RPG's like FF and KH but even action and shooters like the DMC, Jak, Ratchett, MGS, etc.

I never really spend to much time on a game after i have completed it, i tend not to spend ages trying to get the 100% completion rate, but i occassionally aim to score higher, like for some odd reason i tried getting my completion rate on FFX-2 higher, but then remembered how crap the game was and stopped playing it.

Nah im not like that at all, i just dont have the patience. Im happy enough doing the main storyline. Of course i do enjoy sidequests but going out my way to make all characters level 99 etc is just waaay to much hassle, even if i had the time id get bored after 2 levels:gasp:

I was not when I started, but as of late my neurosis have begun to manifest and I have become one: I of course set my own parameters in terms of what I substantively consider master, but they accord with most peoples. Currently I have mastered -- FFI, FFII, FFIII, FFIV, KHI, KHII, Medal of Honor: Frontline, Simpsons Hit and Run, X-Men Legends I, X-Men Legends II, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance

I'm a total completionist. I simply must get 100% on every game I play. It just feels rewarding to know that you've done everything there is to do on a game. I always beat optional bosses no matter what, get ultimate weapons, etc. Currently I've completed 100% all the FF's I've beaten, which you can see in my signature, the Zelda series and Xenosaga: Episode I. I hope to do the same with other RPGs and action games. Currently I just began Xenosaga: Episode II which has a lot of optional bosses, so I'm really looking forward to that.

I don't really care about completing a game 100%. I'm all for doing a few side quests while I go through the main story, but I can never be bothered when it comes to levelling up to 99 or going through the game to collect 600 of something. I will occasionally try optional bosses and the like, but if I can't beat them after a few tries I will just move on. Completing the main story is generally all I care about.

Whenever doing a game the first time around, I only care about finishing the game. If I find it good enough for me to replay it on a later occasion, I will usually try and get as much of it done as I can.

I am not really a completist. I only am for certain games like Final Fantay VII 100% that took a while. LOL. Fallout 3 and COD 4. Other wise no i really not one.

This seems like my major problem in life. I am a perfectionist. So when I play a game I need to get EVERYTHING and do everything to feel satisfied. I recently got Resistance 2 and although I have already played the hell out of it and am growing tired of it very quick, I can not put the game down until I have completed 100% of everything I can do. Such as getting all my online characters maxed and now that they've implemented trophies I have to get them all as well.

Such an addiction to perfection really effected me when I was playing Final Fantasy XI online because I always had to have the best of everything and would play non stop till I got it. It even effects my sleep, I will dream of my goal over and over until I just wake up and say fuck it. So then I only get like 3 hours of sleep so I can spend more time trying to attain my goal.

It depends on how hooked I am to the game and how difficult it is to 100%. If I'm hooked to an amazing game then I have the drive to try and complete it but there are a lot that I play for quite a while then move onto a different game and never go back and complete the one I've just played, or games that I eventually just find boring after a while, much like GTAIV >.>

I'm not. I never go for all the achievements 'cause it's not gonna do me any good in the end anyways (I don't have live so what am I gonna use it for). As long as I've completed the main quest or story or whatever, I'm all good.

I do, at some points. I usually buy a game that looks cool, but if I end up playing it and it totally blows, then I quit. If I find the game to be really awesome however, then I'd complete it if I can.

I don't play all that many gaems tbh, but when I do I DO liek to get my monies worth, last game I tried completing 100% before FF would have been Tony Hawk 3 or TimeSplitters2 though - which I refused to give up on til I had gold in every fucking arcade award.... these games will put me in an early grave...and I STILL havent beat the last level on hard...one fucking day I tell you

Anyway, yeah, I do try to beat every fame to the best of my ability, even when I play Super MArio World, I WILL unlock and complete evvery fucking level, although fuck me theres one on a bridge that fucks me right over when you have to be able to fly UNDER the goddam finish line and get to the one behind it -grumbles-

So yeah, I give it a bloody good go.....my poor blood pressure D:

I would have to say not all the games, most likely the games I'm really hooked up to :gasp: like I play the game first time only to complete it, second time is to get a 100% but since there are games I don't like or I might get bored with fast, I just don't work to complete it 100%.

I can be but I am not in all my games. It depends on the game that I am playing and how much of a motivation I have to complete it or not. The only games I had put forth to completing at 100% were most my Final Fantasy, Dyansty Warriors, and Warriors Orochi games. Right now, I am working through Jeanne d'Arc.

Majority of my Final Fantasy games usually will take me somewhere from 3-6 months to complete all the way through 100% which includes 4,6,7,8,10, X-2, and Tactics. Depending on my Dynasty Warriors games, it can take me anywhere from 3 months to a year to actually complete everything in the game. This has to do with my lack of motivation with wanting to actually play every 48 characters in the game through storymodes (DW5) or Kingdom storymode (DW4) or having play Freemode 100+ times to level every character at 50 (DW6). Warriors Orochi took me a few months to complete everything. Where as my WO2 game took me no more than a month to complete everything but that is because I do so much proficiency grinding within 2 weeks for at least 3 hours a day until I was done.

Other then that, I haven't bothered to complete any of my other games that I have except the ones I just mentioned.

i try to be a completist but its too much work so i end up not being a completist. the only game i think i did everything was the original wild arms since there wasn't that much to do and you could beat all those optional bosses by cheating sort of. other than that, i don't think ive completed 100% of any other game.

I am definitely a completionist. On every game I play,I have to get and do everything on there. It has to be completed 100%. I love being able to say "Yeah I've done everything on there,or Yeah I've beaten all the optional bosses on there, or Yeah I've gotten all the treasure and completed all the sidequests," and so on. It really does feel rewarding to be able to say you've done all that. Plus I'll be able to tell other people how to do certain things on that game, or my strategy for beating certain optional bosses.
