Nothing saying 'Spring' time to me more then Aerith does. The colors and the flower patters around her are very nice. I'm not all that keen on the size or the borer but it doesn't interfere too much with the entire piece it self. =)
 
I voted for #1.

It seemed to fit the Spring theme better. I'm not sure I can see anything to do with Spring in #2.

Anyway, I love the floral design and the pinkish colours.

I rather like the border too. I love that thick creamy looking colour in the background.

It's very cute and sort of reminds me of a picture hanging on a wall.
 
Like the others im wondering what 2 has to do with spring at all. I think theres a lack of creativity there, the sharpness combined with the blue puts me off aswell.
I voted 1 although im not fond of it that much at all. It does fit the theme as aerith was a flower girl. Flowers grow in spring etc. My favourite thing abnout the avatar is the wirefram style flowers to the right, i think they look great. Quite unusual to see aswell so i applaude the artist for adding them instead of normal flowers.
 
Number 1 for me. The fact that its Aeris and her flowers are a great idea and the colours used are beautiful and warming. Nice work!
