I voted for No.2
I think it's the better made avatar. It has fantastic text and I like the overlay floral brushing very much. Aerith's face very much exemplifies the hope theme IMO.

I thought the image used in 1 wasn't very good quality and I didn't like the rainbow border all that much =/

I voted for #2.

It looks set out a lot more nicely and the image is more in proportion than number one.

I like the detail in number two. The texture of the background looks nice, though I would suggest that the floral design coming up onto Aerith's face be rubbed out, as it looks a bit strange.

The text looks fantastic and I like those lines going down and across to underline the text.

Great work to both!

Not saying number 1 didn't have much too it, but it looked like a cropped picture who's canvas was downsized and then borderlined with rainbow ribbon.

I will go with 2 because of the creative nature, although I've seen that damn picture too much =P.
