Theme this week was Futuristic, and these are the entries I received. Please remember, you must post for your vote to count! ^^

Definitely number 1.

It stands out moreso than number two, mainly due to having more colours. The image fits the theme nicely and it's kinda freaky actually. XD

The smooth glossy look looks great and I like the light coming down from the right top hand corner.

Not too fond of the font used, but I do like how the text was placed on an angle.

The transparent border looks cool, though personally I feel a simple one pixel white border would look better and make it stand out more.

Well done to both. =)

I agree completely with everything Kandy said right there, I couldn't write out my own opinion on this any better.

To be pretty honest, I wasn't too fond of either of the icons, they feel rushed, and maybe too simple even... But I do like the colours in the first one...
 
I really like the first one...especially the border. It's different, so it's all cool. The text doesn't seem to fit though, but I thought this was a bit better than 2. Number 2's text is a little better, but I'm not sure about the general avatar overall.
 
Eye catching, readible, very good color scheme, and more are the main reasons for my vote going to number one. This AotW is a easy choice.
 
Imma go with #1, it's obviously the best, the color, the placement of text and the lighting is very good, #2 looks a bit chopped off o_O
