Well, hey everyone. Just got an account here today, as you can see. I've been on a lot of writing forums throughout the web, so if I've seen you on any of them (Writing Forums dot com (or) org, Legend Fire dot com, Writer's Beat dot com, et al.) then I'm sure I've seen you before.

I've been a writer for little over eight years now, having completed three novels, over one hundred poems, seventy lyrics (technically poetry, I suppose) and am currently going to Boise State University in attempts to complete my Major in English Secondary Education Teaching degree.

I have loved the Final Fantasy series for over a decade; my first being Final Fantasy VII, which is still my favorite. My favorite genre in gaming is actually a tie for Third Person Shooting and Role Playing Games. As an example, my favorite series of games goes as such: Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid, Uncharted, and then Kingdom Hearts.

Umm... well, I'm not sure what else to say about myself. I am looking forward to the new Final Fantasy games coming out. I've had Final Fantasy XIII paid off at Gamestop for over a year now, and I still have five months left until I get it, like many of us; I'm sure. I will be playing XIV as well, having never played XI, but loving the idea of playing with, quite possibly, many of you.

I hope you all have gotten to know me a little better. I hope I get to meet some of you and, later on, have fun with you all in the Final Fantasy Realm.

Sincerely,

Oasis

PS:

I thought of more to speak about, so I thought I would add it.

I was an Editor-in-Chief for a Community Paper that distributed to 3000 residents monthly for five years. While on my ventures through many writing forums, I have been a moderator on them all, usually handing down my ranking to someone else who has the time to do what is necessary. I have been a Global Moderator, Area Moderator (Moderated subjects: Poetry, RPG, Fiction, General Discussion, Debate), and have helped administrate while the Admit was on his own hiatus.

Why hello there! Welcome to FFF and I hope you stick around and enjoy all the fun here. We've got plenty to offer - especially our new 'Poem of the Month' ;)

I'll have to search that one out. That happens to be one of my fortes (or so I am told). Thank you for the hearty welcome. Is there a place I should look specifically to find information about where things are, considering I seem to have not found it yet. You'd think my seven years of forum activity would have worked for me. :)

Hmm depends on what kind of information you're looking for. This is quite a big forum so you'll just have to familiarize yourself, but typically the competition threads can be found in the Shoutbox Notice. Just click on the links that interest you and it shall direct you to the actual thread.

That's what I have been doing for now. This is one of the largest forums I've been on. Not the largest, thank goodness, because I probably would have been turned away if it were much larger, but I like the site so far.

Thanks for the help. :)

Hey there and welcome to Final Fantasy Forums. I hope you enjoy yourself here and if you need anything let us know. Good to have someone who is a good writer and is very understood. Maybe up for some debate? Anyway Take it easy, and see you around!

I love debates, but the reason I sway from them is because of how closed-minded people can get. It's hard to debate someone who is acting like a mule and not allowing any train of thought to continue on. The point of debates are to be able to get out all logical and rational thought about a topic, and it seems to me that many people (not on this forum, because I haven't looked yet, but on so many other forums) get to stubborn and spam-happy when something gets to hard to debate. For instance, the debate about God. I, personally, believe in God, and I love to have talks with people who don't (parts of my family are atheists) but even I hate it when people go spout off things like, "God exists because he just does." There's no logical or rational statement in that phrase. Grr....sorry to rant, it just bugs me. :)

You're a good man to see that though. Hince the reason we need more level headed, non biased folks voicing their opinions on the subjects we bring up. =).

I'll definitely look into it. In the past, I've avoided it after unfortunately turnouts where my actual side ends up using moronic reasoning to prove their sides and I ended up replying in rebuttal to them, which caused the thread to go down the drain. At the time, I was one of the moderators, and ended up just deleted the thread.

I guess that's more information about me I should put in my introduction. :)

That is INDEED a lot of work, impressive. Hope you have fun here and ask a friendly mod if you have any problems :-) But Im sure you'll do fine :D

Welcome and such.

Also, I have a bunch of family in Boise. Been there many a time. And high five for high school teachers.
