I'd agree with that one. Just like most other teenage stars, he's just some poor kid with overly ambitious parents. Yet some people think he's the second coming of Satan or something. Personally I haven't actually heard him sing, but that video of him being interviewed on New Zealand TV where he doesn't know what "German" is, is comedy gold. Best blonde moment since Jessica Simpson and "chicken of the sea"
 
I don't know if this was just popular around were I live, but when I was in high school there was this thug fad. Basically, middle class to upper middle class kids wanted to be thugs for absolutely no reason other than it looked cool. So they dressed and acted the part. They never lived on the streets or in the inner city. They never had to wonder where their next meal was coming from and had parents who cared for them.

Yeah, very annoying.
 
I guess I'd say Rihanna. She has like, 8 different songs playing on the only 8 radio stations we can get, and they're all playing at the same fucking time. It's just annoying at this point, and I wish she would happily accept her success and disappear. She can live in a mansion for the rest of her life, just please, no more music. Another one could be these crappy phones that never work. But that's a bit more of a personal fad (dad insisting these are great) I want to go Nokia on them and burn them in a pit of lava. Anyway, mostly Rihanna. If you ask me, her time in the spotlight should have ended long ago.
 
For me, that fucking Harlem Shake is the most heinous and irritating piece of shit fad other than Gangnam Style in some cases. I get mistaken for a korean sometimes and they tend to wag that gangnam shit in my face. My colleagues have been asking us to try and attempt a mass harlem shake in the call center one time I almost got so mad at them.
 
Gadgets. Everyone wants the newest thing even if it is utter shite and completely useless.

Apple man: Check out this new and improved ipad! It is even slimer and smaller than the last one!

Crowd: OH MY GOD I HAVE TO BUY IT!!!

Right now, Daft Punk have gotten a huge rep. boost, hitting number one in at least the UK charts...


And it fucking kills me. All of these random apparent " no.1 fans" are all appearing from the woodwork and it really ticks me off.

I mean, I've been a loyal Daft Punk fan since I was a kid... So it's like someone taking my toy away and playing with it in front off me...


Yes, I do know how this sounds :wacky: But it really annoys me how much of a bandwagon it is. People I know for a fact who NEVER liked them before are now the biggest fans... Quite weird when most of their older stuff is better than "Get Lucky".
