Anime Anime characters that you hate

Aizen Sousuke, Tousen, Sasuke Uchiha -- These are all characters that have to be percieved as awesomely powerful, and always has a card up there sleeve that we didn't know about and it leads them to alwasy have the upper hand, even after they used their trump card, they have another secret one.
Aizen and Sasuke are super-powerful sure, but...Tousen? Hell, even in that dude's hollow form (complete with eyes that work!) he gets taken out by an Assistant Captain using shikai....

and Usopp ends up becoming one of the most badass characters later on. He's sort of odd in that he fails a lot of the time, but when he comes through for the crew (the fight against Mr. 3, delivering the keys at the bridge outside Enies Lobby, fighting Perona) he REALLY comes through.

On the thread subject and OP at the same time; I don't like Enel and I never cared for Skypeia. It's a fun campy storyline, but it just feels so out of place and whacky with the rest of the story. Same with the Foxy Pirates. No connection. At least Skypeia had Roger's note on a poneglyph.

And I know saying something doesn't fit in One Piece because it's whacky could describe half the cast, but at least the bizarre ones such as Ivankov and Moria have an established place in the main plot. Enel was just...out there.

Exactly my thoughts. Enel/Eneru is just the Seymour (FFX) of OP. We don't know what drives him/them to become insane, as I class them. That's kinda the reason why I hate Skypiea TBH. >.>

Ivan :ryan:

Moria is badass, but if you have read the manga, he has been put down really badly... D: /didn't read/watch Thriller Bark

I will say, the World Government does kinda seem to be doing away with the Shichibukai entirely.

Doflamingo's in tight with them, Blackbeard and Jimbei have openly told Sengoku to go **** himself, Hancock probably doesn't have much time left in their ranks given her actions during the war, and Mihawk's enough of a loner that they can probably strip him of his rank and he wouldn't give a rat's ass.

That leaves Moria who's already been badly beaten by the Strawhats and is therefore at this point; useless to the government. And really, when you've got Kuma and the Pacifistas under your control, what do you need to hire pirates for?

(Damn that was a lotta spoiler XD)

As for OP characters I do hate besides Enel: Akainu. Then again, between the Ohara Incident and the Whitebeard War, we're kinda meant to hate him.

The only characters I can think of that really annoy me are all from Dragon Ball Z (considering that it's the only Anime that I really watch other than Berserk and Hellsing).

1) Broly - I hated this asshole. All he ever did was laugh and say "KAKAROT!!!" And why did he hate Goku so much? Oh, because when they were babies, Goku would cry really loud and that made Broly all grumpy. I also love how he's supposed to be some kinda great, powerful, monstrous fiend, but he got beat by a fully powered Goku (with one freakin' punch) and then he was later killed by a teenager and a 7-year-old boy.

2) Frieza - I don't know if I can even think of any redeeming qualities for this shit.

3) Cell - He would've been badass if he had debuted in his perfect form. Even then, though, he still turned out to be a little bitch in the end. The concept for him was awesome, but the end result was a failure. I love how he was made up of the cells of all the great fighters in the world (who were mostly humanoid) yet he looked like a bug. Yeah, 'cause that makes since.

4) Buu - One villian too many. I hate it in shows when they make a character that just won't die. Plus, what was he? He looked like a really buff piece of bubble-gum. And he kicked the ass of the all the Z Fighters?

Pretty much the only cool, main villian in the whole series was Vegeta, and then they turn around and make him a good guy. I loved how he was killing people left and right, was virtually unstoppable. Then, the minute he starts trying to help the good guys, he gets his ass handed to him time and time again for the rest of the series. I know that considering how old this series is, these rants have probably been made by many people. But I've had this shit on my chest for freakin' years.

Rofl.......

Anyone from Naruto
Anyone from Bleach
Anyone from Dragonball
Any of the stereotypical "Large Breasted woman warrior" types
Any of the "Innocent Schoolgirl" Types
In fact, most of the stereotypical anime characters usually annoy me.

Lemme see...*checking back my list of anime that I have watched thus far...* anime characters that I hate...

Amshel Goldsmidth - Blood+

Kyo (really!) -_- because he was always picking on my Yuki - Fruits Basket

Priscilla and (damn) Raki - Claymore

Takayuki Narumi - Kimi Ga Nozomu Ein (Rumbling Hearts)

Envy - Fullmetal Alchemist

Kallen - Code Geass and R2 (yes, I know she is one of the protagonist but that does not make her a *beep* :p

Ilya, Shinji - Fate/Stay Night

hmm....all the characters in Gantz (?) :p with the exception of Masaru Kato

Ayano Kannagi - Kaze no Stigma (another *beep* -_- who ruins the anime for me)

all the characters in Rosario + Vampire - thank God I stopped at ep.6 -_- it was getting too much harem for my liking lol which irks me to no end...

Rido Kuran - Vampire Knight

Misa Amane - Death Note (sorry but this girl annoys me frequently with her immatured babbling in the anime)

Creed Diskenth - Black Cat

I think that's about it...for the moment :)

Raito Yagami from Death Note, need I go on? His out word character flaws, people put way to much positive energy in to loving the absolutely horrific character I think I gag a little when I see him in my Shonen JUMP manga -- actually I do gag -- He is so self assured and people put him on a pedestal and expect you to be scared of them putting you in their Death Notes for bashing him, guess what? Fail filled anime character is filled with Fail

Actually I rather liked the way he was set up. He was full of flaws, completely self-centered, and a total jackass...and yet he was introduced in the style normally reserved for the good guys. L came in later and we ended up with the protagonist and the antagonist switching things up a bit. I think the character's an absolute douchebag, but I like how he was handled.

Priscilla and (damn) Raki - Claymore
I'd hate Priscilla more if she hadn't been absent for so long. As it is, she's kinda come and gone as she pleases; not been the unstoppable wall of villainy for the entire series (a la Aizen).
Misa Amane - Death Note (sorry but this girl annoys me frequently with her immatured babbling in the anime)
Well when your parents are killed, a stalker nearly kills you and dies, and it all comes back to someone known only as "Kira", you'd kinda become an emotional twit yourself :p All the same, I really don't care how she was written in the second part. She was the aforementioned emotional twit in part one, but by the time part 2 came around she just came across as a brat.

Orochimaru is about the only anime character that I hate, just something about him that I dont like :hmmm:
Actually it's the very reason some people just hate him without any specific reason that he's one of my favorite anime villains. Most of them have to do something evil or commit some vile act to get you to hate them. Orochimaru can just stand there and you want to punch his face in.

DBZ STUFF
Actually I liked DBZ up until after Frieza. Frieza worked because he was supposed to be the ultimate evil in the universe; the one responsible for the death of all the saiyans, and the role as such suited him. He was responsible for the situations Kakarot and Vegeta found themselves in, and the idea that only the singular mythic "Super Saiyan" could stop him (while admittedly cliche) fit right with Goku. Frieza was freakish, disturbingly feminine at times, and just exuded "VILLAIN".

IMO; The series went downhill for me when the "ultimate evil in the universe" was then sidelined by a buggy android and then the "ultimate ultimate evil in the universe of universes" that was Buu. Oh, and the "singular mythic Super Saiyan" that was only supposed to be Goku? Turns out everyone can do it with MAN GRUNTS AND TRAINING WITH GRAVITY.

Yeah, I guess if you put it that way :ahmed: I liked L more though, Light seemed like he tried to hard and he couldn't even handle what he was trying to be and accomplish, he let it get the best of him and everyone around him >.> I think I'd have liked him more if he had pulled off his character better.

Yeah, I guess if you put it that way :ahmed: I liked L more though,
IMO; L is one of the more iconic characters in anime. The blank look, the sitting, the way he holds things...it's all good :)
Light seemed like he tried to hard and he couldn't even handle what he was trying to be and accomplish, he let it get the best of him and everyone around him >.> I think I'd have liked him more if he had pulled off his character better.
Honestly, Light would've done a LOT better if he'd kept his cool and simply waited 24 hours to kill Lind L. Tailor. That simple hasty action allowed L to narrow the range considerably and get the FBI involved within a frighteningly short amount of time. If Light had waited a few hours...he'd have been a lot better off at the start.

Sasuke from Naruto-
He has to be the cool and the dude girls love, I don't get it, he was only annoying in the anime and very selfish. I never liked him at all. Yeah go ahead, step to the wrong side as long as you can get revenge, screw your friends. The worst part is, I don't get why Naruto still wants him back after three years.
And when he learns the truth about Itachi he wants to destroy Konoha while Itachi 'sacrificed' himself to protect it, why didn't Sasuke just die instead of Itachi =.=

Karin from Naruto- Egh, what's her purpose in the anime? as far as I've seen it (I'm at anime episode 167) she's only drooling about Sasuke, she;s WORSE than Sakura and Ino. She's really so desperate to have alone time with Sasuke. Get lost.

Regarding that;
As I see it, Sasuke's devoted his entire life to revenge. It's pretty much all he understands. That in mind, when he found out Itachi had sacrificed himself for Konoha, the idea that his brother had been a hero didn't fully cement itself in his mind. The revenge mindset still present, he went from "ITACHI KILLED MY CLAN!" to "KONOHA MADE MY BROTHER KILL MY CLAN". Revenge is pretty much all he's known.

Granted, that hardly stops me from thinking he's a hyper-impulsive little twerp who seriously needs to unclench.

I don't hate her so much as I dislike how Kishi's written her. When she first appeared, I was hoping we'd get a new female character with a different personality and whatnot. The fact that Kishi wrote her off as another Sasuke fangirl at the start just comes across as lazy (noting especially how much more development he worked into Jugo and Suigetsu).

Thankfully,
Karin seems to have turned her back on Sasuke after he nearly killed her during the fight with Danzo and she's cooperating (in an amusingly obnoxious way) with Konoha now.

ok i hate:

asuka evengelion (too loud)

yoko gurren lagan (too fake and a slapper)

Regarding Asuka and Yoko being a slapper; to each their own :)

As for "too fake", keep in mind that TTGL was a satire/parody show of the mecha genre as a whole. None of the characters were really supposed to come across as three-dimensional or realistic by any stretch of the terms :p

Misa- Death Note god, would Kira kill her already. I just cannot stand her right now. Sure she may be pretty, but she's got serious problems. The high-pitched voice, and her sick obsession for Light. And
the tapes she sent in were to revealing, she almost told L and the others that Shinigami and the Death Note do the killings, I mean, how stupid could she be?
Now, she could've been a better character without the god awful voice and the obsession with Light.

Shouji Endo (Nana) - He's just a friggin' asshole. I know Hachi can be a little annoying, but SERIOUSLY, break up with her first BEFORE starting another relationship. Bastard cheated on Hachi just 'cause he didn't have the balls to stick around and help mend their relationship.

Kagome. I have not found another character in any other anime to habour as much hate as I do for Kagome. Mika (Fushigi Yuugi) and Yuka (Elfen Lied) came close, but only because of their very parallel personalities. They all have that "I'm in love with this guy, but he doesn't feel the same way so I must put myself in danger/be away from him for long periods of time to gather his attention and egg me on" personality... and it's just really.. soo... erebgusnrhunsh.

I only hate Kagome more, because she was the first I was exposed to with this nature, and for maybe 2 years of Inuyasha I had to put up with her crap.

:hmm:

Orihime [Bleach]
I just hate the stupid, big breasted women so damn much. That alone wasn't too bad, she was funny and what not, but then when she started being a 'fighter.' That's when things got...just no.

Katara [Avatar: Th Last Airbender]
Oh god...I hate this woman more than I can hate any other in the entire world of anime. Why? Well, lets start by: the over dramatic speeches, the over motherly and protectiveness of Aang (yeah, just Aang, forget Soka HER BROTHER), the fact that when she learned an amazing technique (blood bending) she's such an idiot to start crying about it. Not like she HAS to use the damn technique, it's honestly just nice to know. And of course, an incredibly helpful technique if it really came down to it. She was pleasant in most episodes, but when she fucked up, she fucked up and I hated her so much for it.

....I changed the channel.

Sakura [Naruto]
Shallow and for the most part...useless. That's my whole view of Sakura in the anime, never did I give her a second chance ever since I saw that form her and I don't think I want to give her a second chance. Even later on when she gains more skills, she still pisses me off.

I'll add more as I think of them.

I would have to say Rini, aka Sailor Mini Moon, aka Chibiusa from Sailor Moon. I still have yet to find another anime character as annoying as her. I love Sailor Moon, but I can't watch season 4 because it revolves around the most annoying character in the whole series. If she was real, I think I might consider homicide because she is so annoying and disgusting. She wants to be intimate with her dad, which to me is horrendous. I would hate to see another character even as annoying as her, let alone one worse.
