What bosses or parts in any of the games have made you the most pissed off?

Recently for Me its salamander in FF3

but overall it has to be the triple traid quests in FF8. winning cards then losing them

FFVII --- it was the whole episode where you didn't have Cloud in your party and obviously the death of Aeris, the first I've ever seen a game with a main character death, kinda made me more angry than sad, to be honest.

FFVIII --- saving Rinoa. It was fine the first couple of 'saves' but it just got too overused, in my opinion.
Bosses? Griever. >.<

FFIX --- Ozma, the most evil boss ever devised, too tough to kill, in my opinion.

FFX --- what made me most angry was Yuna and Seymour kissing. :P

FFVI - Trying out the first blitz by Sabin (defeating Vargas). I had to go online and actually look in multiple forums just to get it down right.

FFVIII - Saving Rinoa multiple times. I like her, but the situation dealing with her as a damsel in distress really got old quick.

FFXII - Vaan. I honestly just can't get into his character. Worst character of all the FF series, in my opinion.

FFVII the niblehem flashback it has to be the most boring part of any FF game ever

FFVIII the desert prison it has to be the 2nd most boring part of any FF game ever

I agree on the Nibelheim flashback. It is interesting on the first playthrough but it goes on for quite awhile so the next playthroughs you are just trying to hurry up and get past it. Oh, and make sure Cloud mentions Tifa's underwear. :D

Also in FFVII that had me for awhile was the Demon Wall. First playthroughs I am usually under leveled and I remember struggling with this boss. I mostly use magic then and I never thought about using attacks that actually worked better on him.

FFIII DS I was annoyed at the beginning. Mostly because in the first area there are 3 places. Ur, Kazus and Sasune. It is not a very big area. Between the short distance of Ur and Kazus is weak enemies but between the short distance of Kazus and Sasune the enemies take a mighty improvement. I was getting wiped out in 1 or 2 hits.

In FFVIII I really hated the Missile base mission/Back to Balamb Garden part just after the desert prison. I honestly can't really explain why but it is a part of the game I don't really like doing much aswell as the desert prison as it all takes awhile.

In FFIX, the bit that usually puts me off is when you go to Oeilvert. Mostly because it is a no magic zone so you are usually left with pretty much a weak party when it goes back to the others on the Outer Continent. Even though I know a cheap way of gaining lots of EXP in Oeilvert, It is still a part of the game that puts me off.

FFX - Hahahahahahaha...Ahahahahahahahahahaha...Hahahahahahahaha! - My dad walked in the room and out of all the cutscenes he could have seen, he had to see this one. I honestly think this is probably the most cringeworthy moment in Final Fantasy and definitely up there as one of the most cringeworthy moments in general.

In FFXII, I just could not stand Vaan. Whenever he spoke, I literally cringed because everything he says is always cringeworthy. I would blame most of that on the voice actor but with his personality and with him being the "protagonist", I just never took a liking to him one bit.

I agree about Salamader in 3. Man it took about 4 or 5 attempts before I nailed that sucker to the wall lol!

Also the desert prison in 8 was a bitch. Specially the part where it starts to sink back into the sand and Squall needs to move across that pipe section. That frustrated me cause I didnt know if I had gotten fully across till the sand settled.

Yeah, first time using Blitz with Sabin on FFVI. How the hell did the first players of that figure out the combo without help? It's not told anywhere except in guides and on the internet, which didn't exist back then. :monster:

For FFVII, I'd say the "Cloud getting his memory back" part when him and Tifa fall into the Lifestream. That was far too long and there was too much talking in it.

Yeah!
I hate the Nibleheim flashback in Kalm. It takes up so much time if you've seen it before and you gain absolutely no experience!!!

alright well ill go into a little more detail here

vii- probbaly the most annoying thing in 7 for me had to be the battle center, chocobo breeding, and morphing that ship into the book to get the underwater materia. these events all seem stamped in my mind as a pain in the ass

viii-the card quests were really annoying. also i agree on the whole bombing mission/losing half of your players for a long time was a major problem.

ix- the slow atb at the start of the game. omg im playing right now and its so slow.holy crap

x-thunderbolts. thunderbolts. iv gotten to 147 before.

xii- no random battles. i hate that they took them away

How bout in XII the fact that you run into like 20 different types of marlboros throughout your journey.

Also in FFVII trying to beat ultima weapon the first time round without cloud in your team was a friggin pain in the arse.
Also the fort condor battles were boring as hell.

And the cloister of trials in FFX especially bahamuts really pissed me off

What gets me really pissed off is when I will spend countless hours leveling up, learning abilities, getting far in a hard area, and then dying right before I get a chance to save my game and updates. It always some painfully slow, bullshit death too that gets rubbed in my face by the enemy. Then I don't play the game for 4 months and I lose all interest in the story.

I can't think of specifics except for my first time in the Omega Ruins and getting screwed over by a Marlboro, but in general mainly.

FFI (NES): Leveling up took too long.
FFII (NES): Stupid wonky level-up system.
FFIV (SNES): Low amounts of MP in the early parts.
FFV (SNES): Have trouble choosing jobs for my party, and the vast majority of scenes that lack Gilgamesh. He always brings a smile to my face. Clash on the Big Bridge shall always be my #1 Final Fantasy song of all time.
FFVI (SNES): Atma Weapon and the Floating Continent piss me off to no end.
FFVII (PS1): Leveling up Materia and breeding the Gold Chocobo. So.... tedious....
FFVIII (PS1): Re-junctioning. I hate it when that happens.
FFIX (PS1): Damn you Oelivert! Damn you to hell!!!
FFX (PS2): Unskippable cutscenes.
FFXII (PS2): Gilgamesh was the only reason I played this game. And it took too long to get to him.

In IV, having to take Edward and his 30hp-having ass to the antlion cave. Every time he got hit he would go hide and it just made the battles extremely irritating.

Rinoa in VIII. Specifically, having to save her all the time. Also Squall and the white seed ship quest.

In X, Tidus (everything about him), Yuna's voice and continuously curing zombie while fighting Yunalesca and then having her cast megadeath on me. :mad2:

In XII, Vaan and Ashe. I hated both of them with a fiery passion.

Yunalesca. The very first time I came into that battle with her, I had everyone fully maxed out and thought it would be a breeze. It would have, but I completely forgot about Megadeath, (Worst part is, I kinda remember reading about it before I got the game) and before I knew it, everyone was dead…
