Angelus-Mortis' Art Thread

I wonder if I could do something similar to what I did with Sephiroth. It could be worth to try a signature with it, of course if I have your permission to do so Angelus. :)

Wow O_O

Man, you've got some serious skills there!

Why don't you have a Deviant Art? You should really get one and post up your stuff there! :D

Sure, go right ahead. I'd be curious to see it.

Play the second Phoenix Wright game, and then you'll see what she's like.

As for DA, I have an account, but it has the same or less stuff on it than what I'm posting here. It's not really any different. I think.

Ecellent stuff as usual Angelus, I love checking out your art ^^

I recently installed Bryce 5 on my computer, so I'm playing around with it.

One of the first few things I made was my idea of a mug which shows that Euclid's fifth postulate is incorrect.

However, a straight line on a cylinder is actually a spiral, and wouldn't actually prove much. However, if you take the projection of a sine or cosine curve on a cylinder onto an elliptical prism, then it is a straight line, and it would actually work. In other words, the intersection of a plane cutting through a cylinder not perpendicular to it forms an ellipse; the plane, if you look at it from a certain angle, would be a straight line.

Okay, the pictures.

Finally, I got around to that flash movie I've been trying to work on. It's only the first part though because I've been told making long movies is irritating to other people.

In other news, I'm still playing with Bryce, and made a model of a spherical blackboard. It's most useful for spherical geometry, and you can open it up and put chalk and other stuff inside it.

Another 3D model, except bigger. It's a hyperbolic projector, similar in concept to the spherical blackboard, except instead of a giant blackboard, it's a giant projector, and instead of drawing lines on the outside, you draw them on the inside of the sphere (apparently, I made this model so that you can also draw lines on the outside of it as well.)

This is what it looks like outside.

And inside.

This is the sphereboard on the inside; it's not quite a blackboard, but it's generally a smaller version of the projector itself; you can use it to change some settings or draw on the outside of the large projector.

This is a panel of the inside of the smaller projector.

And this is a laser pointer you use to draw the lines on the giant projector. Just point where you want to draw.

Some images of the screen itself. The last one is a close-up.

This is the lift that goes back outside. There isn't really a problem if the lift isn't on the side of the entrance; you can simply just slide down the bottom of the sphere and reach the platform with the ladder.

I finished this picture that was in the WIP thread.

Ich_traf_einen_Mann.jpg

The English says:
I met a man,
His hair was blond and fine,
I know another man,
Whose hair was blond and fine,
I met a man,
His eyes were dazzlingly blue,
I know another man,
Whose searching eyes were blue,
I met a man,
He is not someone I know,
I know another man,
Who is someone I know,
I met a man,
His face was fair and handsome,
I know another man,
Whose expression was as fair and as great as his mind,
I met a man,
Why does it matter that I know what he looks like,
When I know another man, who looks the same, yet who does not compare to this man,
When the man that I know was more intelligent than any other man that I know?
