Air Pressure

Hm. This game is pretty interesting, and refreshing considering how I usually end up on the website playing some action, shooting games, and the like.
I was wondering what exactly was the object of the game. In fact, I thought there was going to be something monstrous coming at me, when I realized my character was rather confused about the girl... To an extent I thought it was love, a crush. And I guided him along that path...

On to confess and ask for a closer relationship...

Then suddenly end up in some hospital? Didn't hit any arteries? I'm like so confused about the game at that point... Going to play through again a few more times to see the other supposed endings.

EDIT 1:

OH GOSH...

Thinking about the various endings deeper... I start to get an inkling. I'm not very sure, but it almost feels like the guy is addicted to something - personified by the girl. If he breaks free, he's free of his addiction. If he does stay together, he begins to do something drastic... Specifically suicide, wrist slashing, as shown by the nurse.

"You didn't hit any arteries, or nerves..."

"Why did you do it?"

I'mma playing more to find out...

Seems like he might have a heroin addiction. 'she wrapped herself round my left arm and has stayed there since'

My first outcome just saw them as carrying on - nothing changing and i was confused by the ending, so I played it again, got 'free' of her, 'she was out of my life within a month and i hope i will never need her again. Defo sounds more like an addiction to heroin or something rather than just some relationship or other from the first outcome, which just left me confused

I think it's an excellent game. I was confused at first but I definitely think the girl represents a drug and I like how it's symbolised by a relationship with a girl. It makes the problem a lot more relatable because more people have had a relationship with a person than a drug so it does draw you in.

I played it twice and got the ending where he's in hospital and another ending where he's free.

I wish they made more games like this. A good story to draw you in is always good in my book.

I probably understand this game more now. It came as a random thought, but I was thinking. Why did they call it Air Pressure?

I think now it was the addiction, which was likened to the feeling of air pressure. What was more interesting what the part of the game where the girl would inevitably start blurring somewhat. Why was it that the girl would blur?

Which provides the strongest reason that the girl wasn't real.

To restate the addiction idea - according to Kelly, and one that I fully agree with.

Referring to the endings, we realize that the character may choose to further develop his relationship with the girl, stay the same, or break free. The link to addiction is probably best seen here. If he breaks free, he actually says he's happy and all. To be free from the shackles of addiction. Indeed.

To stay the same, he just stayed within his so-called 'comfort zone'. To further develop his relationship would probably mean taking a larger dosage of drug, which led to complications that landed him in hospital....

Aha. I think I'm pretty sure what this story is about now. :D

very interesting if you play it again to get a differnt ending.
i didnt click on first time as i left her behind first playthru. I agree with you all about the games true meaning.

I had to play it twice :O I might play it once more...

It's a very deep game with many possibilities which is what makes it so interesting. I really like it!

I agree with people on the whole 'she's a drug' thing.

EDIT:
It could also be cutting or something after seeing the hospital ending :O But Idk...
