Ok I spent more than 3 hours looking everywhere on the internet regarding how to get Aeris's Great Gospel. I learned that there is a sleeping man that gives you mithril if the last 2 numbers of battles you fought are even. Ex: (122, 244, 355).

So I tried locating the cave (where the sleeping man is) when I was playing the game, but I could never find it. The directions on the internet were pretty ambiguous as well and had differing qualities.

So can anyone help me? Or at least step-by-step guide me to the process of getting to the cave in which the sleeping man can be found? A screenshot of the actual location on the map would be enormously helpful.

I was walking everywhere on the continent by Midgar for at least an hour and 30 minutes expecting to find a cave, but that never happened . Much thanks if this gets answered!

You actually need the buggy to get there because you have to cross a stream. The cave is north of Junon and west of Mythril mines.. Take the buggy and drive north and you should see a stream. Cross at the shallow part of the stream and the cave is right there. I tried searching for a screenshot on google but I couldn't find one. :hmmm:

The yellow dot that says "Old Man's House" is the cave.

Oh crud I think I left the buggy by Lucrecia Cave...is it still possible to drive it up towards Costa De Sol or do I have to do something special?

By the way THANKS SO MUCH...that map solves ALOT of the problems I first encountered.

You should be able to drive the buggy out of there the same way you drove it in. Take it to Costa Del Sol and ride the cargo ship back to Junon. Remember to actually drive the buggy into Costa Del Sol to bring it with you. If you get out of the buggy and walk into Costa Del Sol, you won't have it when you ride the cargo ship back to Junon.

If you do this correctly, once you arrive in Junon and leave the city, you'll have the buggy on the map with you. Then you can drive north and across the stream.

And you're welcome. Glad I could help. xD

Haha thanks I was literally grabbing my hair and frustrating over as to where this man was. I went all over the entire continent scouring and running into needless encounters. (Man there has got to be materia to resist those annoying battles). As you can see...I am generally the type to play a game without any cheats or hacks. (Especially gameshark users booo). I think the only time I would ever use gameshark is if I wanted Aeris to stay in Disc 2...but eh a story is a story.

There is a materia that repels encounters. It's called "Encounter None" but you don't get it untill later on in the game. There's also an "Encounter Up" aswell.

I never really bother with Aerith's limit breaks too much seeing as she's not around for long enough to do much with...

This maybe Off topic completely?

But I just gotta say witht explanantio Tia just gave this sounds like an excellent adventure to a nebie/forward slash/less EXP player of FFVII which lead sme to belive that S-E must remake FFVII. They simply must!
