I couldn't agree more Free Flyer before Cloud met Aeris he didn't care about anything or anyone but when he met her he was happy for the first part of the game. Tifa just get lost he's taken!

cool-wings, Of course you may join! I think everyone with a heart was sad when she died. :C Even Cloud was heartbroken... and he was a jerk in the game. :C And I agree, he was happy around. You know the creator of the game said that Cloud's laughter scene with Aerith outside of the church is the very first time Cloud laughed in the game? and that it had nothing to do with Jenova's influence. Lots of people always say it was fake Cloud laughing, but it wasn't!
Why don't you tell us what else you like about CloudxAerith so much?
Free Flyer, I so agree. They are the most adorable pairing of all time. T_T and the fact that Cloud thinks of Aerith so much even after her death... just melts my heart. You should see what Cloud thinks and says about Aerith in the Dismantled book that SQUARE ENIX released back in 1997 and released in 2005. It's so romantic it seems fake. T_T He compares her smile to a flower, says her laugh is innocent and voices how he won't ever be able to hear it again--meaning he'll miss it.
It's all just so--*le sigh* AMAZING.

I'm glad you brought that up, though. The creators said that they chose Aerith to die because they didn't like the cliche of "the man dying for the woman they love"... so they made it the woman dying for the man. T_T My sister pointed out that that sentence basically says Cloud loves Aerith--since they said they flipped the cliche. Q-Q
I wish they'd bring her back but then the beauty in their eternal love would lose that special meaning.

Even after Aeris death Cloud always brings her up in convocations.
Just before Cat Sith 1 dies Areis asks Cat Sith "How compatible are Cloud and I" and Cat Sith answers saying "You are perfect for each other. Aeris star and Cloud star! They show a great future"

I agree, coolwings. It is a very beautiful quote. You know that Cait Sith quote has something even more romantic behind it, too! In the Official Ultimania released by SQUARE ENIX they said the prediction said Cloud and Aerith would get married! 
Another great thing about this quote is that it says the prediction about their marriage makes her death more sad/painful--which means had she lived she and Cloud would have definitely gotten married.
Here's the quote:

Thats a good Quote up there ^^^ what I like about it so much is that Aeris says that "I'll be off now and Ill come back when its all over". Also at the very end you see Cloud looking up then you see a picture of Aeris which makes it even more sad if you look back and also that she was there with them till the end.
I think SE stopped Cat Sith's Fortune telling after Aeris death is because all of his fortune telling was about her to make the story more sad. So the only reason that Cat Sith was fortune telling was to make the story sadder for when Aeris dies.
I like how SE made it that the first person you see it Aeris and the last person you see is Aeris.

Anyways, update on the book... supposedly NONE of the original cast has any more than a brief mention or a short (very short) amount of dialog. And Aerith is only mentioned by name. Cloud's still running his delivery business, though--he picks up gas/fuel for the Turks. Oh, and also, the Don has pictures of Cloud, Aerith, and Tifa from their night trying to seduce him.... oh, and he's still alive.

I'm so sorry for not active much in the past months (you guys know how cruel school life could be!)
Anyway, today I have saw something that made me rushed on here no matter what the cost! Has anyone see the walkthrough of FF XIII-2? If you did I bet you could not miss the first opening scene of it!
There is this "main evil" guy (whom I don't know name yet) caring a girl whose name is Yuru into the river.
And I swear on my life that the moment I saw the scene I have to use both hands to cover my mouth from not shouting "CLORITH!!!!" because it was 1 A.M at the moment XD
That scene has made the best day in my life! Anyone agree with me?
