I'll probably get it, but I usually wait to complete the game once before I get the guide to find out stuff I've missed (like missing the zodiac spear in XII (which I'm yet to replay!)).

I'd probably prefer the hardback but there may not be copies about by the time I get to buy it. Cos I know if I bought it now, I couldn't not look in it when playing! I'm so weak!

I don't think that's the case in the UK though...at least I don't remember it being that way.

I'll need to check with Ryan on that one though. But when it comes to things outside of the UK, I'm not too sure on that.

Im getting the hardcover limited edition one because I already have it preordered I can not wait till I get my hardcover guide. But ya I like the smaller version too but then again I ordered the big hardcover one already A few more days till XIII!

Yeah it has a nice layout on the inside, not too busy and it hasn't been given a silly background like the FFIX one had way back when.

I think I'll be getting the nice shiny special one to match the fron cover of my game
