A New World Map?

I've taken the liberty of making this thread for fellow RPG players to suggest world-maps for when the game is reset. I dunno about you, but the current map looks.... well.... butt ugly to say the least. It doesn't fit the forums. I'm thinking we should use a world-map from one of the FF games.

I myself like this map, although it need some work to get rid of the points.

it realy depends on the replacement if you ask me, i wouldn't mind the FFVIII map or the FFVII map as i liked them boththe FFXII map would be aceptable
 
Wow, the oblivion map looks great and is pretty detailed to boot.
And the center just so happens to look just like Midgar XD

IMO, ones without text look better, that way identifiers unique to this forum can be added.

The only problem I have with the oblivion map is it doesn't look like a world map (which makes sense, as in that game, it's a map of a province of an island continent similar to Australia). But, I still like it.
 
if it looks cool and the annoying stuff is fixed then go right on ahead
 
I still think that the Dragon Warrior 1 world map should be used. It has all kinds of terrain that could be useful when creating ideas for towns and monsters.
 
I like that one Julius, I just think more watery area is be needed. Apart from that I think that one would do.
 
Yes, a wet map is a good map. :monster:

Also, how about some smaller and more secluded continents?
 
I like the Oblivion map as well guys. I also like the maps Julius made. It would be cool to have a map and legends that are not Inferno defaults.
 
Thats another thin that is needed badly, map icons. I dunno about you, but colored balls are not appealing (and sound nasty too XD).

And Julius, I wasn't able to see map #1 of yours, but I like maps 2 & 3, though they're little more than a modified map of the earth, they're still awesome, because that could set up out RPG as an alt. universe RPG.
