360 0r wii??

Echoes was definitely easy in comparison to the first game. The Omega Space Pirate and Metroid Prime itself gave me troubles in MP. Metal Ridley was a tricky bugger, too. There were no such challenges in Echoes.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is on the same level as the second game in terms of difficulty. Getting used to the controls is probably the trickiest part of the game...
Even to this day, if I replay the game that Metroid Prime tends to beat me if I drop my guard while playing. But if we compare it to the Ing Emperor, man I could beat that boss again and again while eating nachos:neomon: No need for concentration.

I actually spent a lot of time completing the first Metroi Prime, seriously I was somewhat addicted to it. I played it only once because after beating it for the first time, I didn't wanted to go all over again through ALL the quests...

But when it comes to MP2: Echoes, I actually played it twice, and it was not that much of a true challenge, not like MP:neomon:

I spent far more time on MP when it came to getting the scans and things as annoying as it was although I did miss one once-in-the-game scan. After that I couldn't be bothered with the scanning stuff after that. On MP2 I sorta tried to complete it as fast as I could rather than taking my time with it, I didn't have much patience with it as I did with before.

I never really had much trouble with any of the bosses except with the last two but that was similar to you in that it only happened when I wasn't concentrating enough.

Still both really good games in the end though.

Well, I see this person is in the Prison right now, but I'll reply anyway.

I went with a 360 due to the HUGE number of games they have in their library currently. Great games that gave the Xbox its great name like Halo and such, but the Live experience is one of the best. There are tons of online gamers with Xbox Live and the support for it is amazing even at $50 a year subscription.

While the Wii is great, I believe you'll just be finding yourself playing so-so Mario games throughout its lifespan.

Depends on what type of game you want, the Wii delivers a unique fun experience if you want to play with friends and family but lacks in delivering a wide variety of games. However, it could be a case of once you've played one game you've played them all as a lot (if not all) of them require the same movement the Wii-mote.

As for the 360, basically its more of a FPS or a Sports console so games like CoD4, FIFA08, R6v2 would be great for it, although I don't agree with having to spend £40/$50 a year to play on Xboxlive, nevertheless, the 360 and live do have some great games coming up and the features are great.

However, if you are looking for RPG's etc, games which have gripping storylines, the only 'true' next-gen experience then get a PS3. With great exclusives like MGS4, Gran Turismo 5, Home, FFXIII, FFvXIII etc coming up soon the PS3 will be the #1 console. BUT, if you insist on a Wii or 360 then get a 360 simply because it has a wider variety of games to choose from. Plus, the future all time best selling 360 game, FABLE 2, will be coming out soon which is a must for ANYBODY!

Fable 2

You don't consider the 360 capable of delivering a "true" next-generation gaming experience? I disagree.

And the chances of Fable 2 selling more copies than Halo 3 are remote. It's definitely a huge release, though.

The Xbox 360 has the support of BioWare and Mistwalker, and even Square Enix and Tri-Ace have an Xbox 360 exclusive RPG coming out, so saying that the only console able to deliver a "true" next gen experience for RPG fans is the PS3, is just silly. I'd even go as far as saying that RPG-wise, the 360 has more going for it at the moment than the PS3 does.

As people have said, it depends on what you want. The Wii can be more engaging, and Wii sports is very addictive. While there are more games for the XBox 360, there will be more coming out on the Wii. Zelda is VERY good, and Rayman Ravin Rabbids is actually a lot of fun; just don't buy it full price. I just bought a Wii and am glad I did!

An XBox 360 is a little too similar to a PS2. Those who I know who have one love the games on it though... But remember a Wii can play Gamecube games too!

Square Enix and Tri-Ace have an Xbox 360 exclusive RPG coming out

The biggest announcement during today's Xbox 360 conference in Tokyo was the unveiling of a new exclusive title by Square Enix. Although that was a big enough surprise for the attending press, what caught them even more off guard was that the game wouldn't be a role-playing game. The publisher of Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior is instead working on a shooter with Game Arts.

Valkyria Chronicles: Sega's Beautiful New PS3-Exclusive RPG,
White Knight Chronicles
Final Fantasy XIII
Final Fantasy Versus XIII

Apart from Fable 2 I can't see how the 360's RPG's are more promising in the future.

PS3 - HD Graphics
Wii - Brand new revolutionary gameplay
360 - ???

That's all well and good, but the game I was mentioning was Infinite Undiscovery which will definitely be an RPG. Apart from Fable 2, there's plenty to look forward to on the Xbox 360 RPG-wise. Mass Effect 2 for example is currently in the making, and Mass Effect being lauded as one of the best RPG's ever by many gaming media, I would have to say that is something worth looking forward to. Mistwalker has Blue Dragon 2 and Cry On in the making, and as far as I am concerned, anything with Hironobu Sakaguchi involved should raise atleast some level of interest among all RPG fans. The Xbox 360 also currently has more good RPG titles out there. Sony can't really brag of any RPG exclusives worth speaking of at the time being, while Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, and Mass Effect are all out on the Xbox 360.

And since when hasn't the Xbox 360 had HD graphics?

I wouldn't brag about the PS3 having better RPG titles at the moment, because it doesn't. I'm just saying that the 360 doesn't offer more in the future as even though Infinite Discovery is a 360 exclusive the PS3 has FFXIII Versus and so on so it could be balanced and as for the future the 360 may have a rise of RPGs but based on the past, albeit, I do apologise for not putting it in my first post, Sony generally have had a larger amount of RPGs and therefore a bigger history with them while the Xbox/360 has probably had a better history with FPS and Sport game genres. So based on that and because this is an FF forum then it would be a fair guess it would stay the same though I'm not going to say it will ALWAYS be like that. As for HD, 360 has always had HD, BUT it doesn't rival the PS3 in the way of graphics and thats something I won't change my opinion on.
Nevertheless, I won't say the PS3 is better because each console has its pros and cons such as XboxLive being better than PS3 online.
Peace. :wink1:

PLain and simple. IF you want to have great graphics and a game with story line go with the 360, but if you want a game that gets you active, not so great graphics, but is still fun to play, then choose the Wii.
