[29/06] 20 Years Of Mana In One Super-Sized Sountrack

This year is the 25th anniversary of Dragon Quest, Sonic the Hedgehog’s 20th birthday, and the 20th anniversary of the Mana series.
Instead of a compilation of Mana games, Square Enix has a encyclopedia-like soundtrack for fans to pick up. The 20 disc collection has songs from:

- Final Fantasy Adventure
- Secret of Mana
- Seiken Densetsu 3 (unreleased overseas)
- Dawn of Mana
- Sword of Mana
- Legend of Mana
- Children of Mana
- Heroes of Mana

Also included are two arrange albums for Secret of Mana and Final Fantasy Adventure plus a bonus DVD with a Mana medley performed by an orchestra and video interviews. The package costs 21,000 yen ($260) and will be available in Japan on September 14.

Oh my gosh! It would have been greater if they were announcing a remake of Secret of Mana, but this is great too! I loved the game's music :33

Too bad it costs 260$...Oh well, I already own the soundtracks to them separately lol

I was sort of hoping just a bit that they might announce something really cool like a Seiken Densetsu 3 port or something, but I guess that was being optimistic. Concerning the soundtrack, think I'll pass, I already have the soundtracks for Sword of Mana (FFA remake) and Secret of Mana, and this compilation is kind of pricey.

The Mana series has some fantastic music, so this could be pretty awesome, especially if the arrange albums and orchestral medley are doing particular tracks. I can't see this ever being released outside of Japan, but that doesn't stop importing.

...although I'll be in my cold grave before I pay that much for it.
