Anyone heard about this movie? Due for release in november this year
looks like it's going to be good looking at the trailors
from the creators off independence day and day after tomorrow as well

Reminds me off a film i saw a while back i can't think off the name now
but in the film there all running through a forest at the end and the some big wave is closing in on them

It looks ok.

I can't say I know what is going on though... Everything seems to just be falling apart and crumbling away in chaotic fashion for no reason, though I guess it'll be explained in the movie.

I've not heard about this movie until now, and I'll probably give it a go when it comes out though I know nothing about it now.

I heard about it the other day On Tv never seen the trailers until today though

LOL at 1:24 on the trailier the helicopter is carrying a giraffe!

My guess is that massive earthquakes cause it, since this is the way that the Mayans predicted that the world will end in 2012.

Could this movie perhaps be The Knowing, with Nicholas Cage? I think I saw that in theaters, and it was pretty good.

I am really excited for 2012, because I am really in to doomsday theories and what not, and supposedly, December 23, 2012, is when the world goes bye-bye.

No it is quite an old film it is about the world ending as well though at the end of the film the president is giving a speech that's another thing i remember ohh and there is one part where they are getting evacuated in Mini buses

EDIT: It was called deep impact :se7:

I've heard of it.
I'll see it just because John Cusack is starring in it.
I love most of his movies, that I've seen.
1408 was awesome.

Oh right, I see that now. It mentions the predictions at the begining of the trailer but for some reason I chose not to view the whole thing and began waching it when it had already played a bit of the trailer (very odd of me to do that as I always view the whole thing whenever I watch it). So I didn't understand that it was to be based on a Mayan prediction.

Well this could be cool. And yeah it does look like massive earthquakes, as well as meteor rain.

Also, lol at the giraffe. I hope it becomes as famous as the Twister Cow. :ness:

I've been meaning to hire this out but I've been a bit paranoid about it, because as soon as I see those sorts of movies I freak out and believe them and start having nightmares. >.<

I'm not too fond of seeing the world end but at the same time I'm curious and it looks like it could be good from what I've seen, so I'll give it a watch soon.

I saw the movie... and it was alright. The destruction sequences were fun to watch. And that's about it. I felt that the action was too constant and we never got a break to catch a breath. And the kid characters were annoying especially the little girl. Also, all the characters i liked died.

I also found myself siding with the guy at the end who said not to let more people on the arc. I felt that was the most realistic decision especially since there was a giant tsunami about to hit in 15 minutes and they would not have had the supplies to sustain more people on the arc. So while the one guy was nice and all, I did not feel like it was a good idea to open the doors. but it is a movie so of course it was going to turn out all right.

i also wasn't happy that Tamara died. I mean WTF? She should have been safe in the compartment she was in and the people behind her should have died with her. Her death just seemed like an after though. Same with the new husband.

Movie was fun to watch but not one that I'd watch again.
