15 Year Old Girl Murders 9 Year Old Girl

I'm appalled..

As they say, 'Curiosity kills the cat'... :S

Nevertheless, for someone this young to be murdering another 'just to see how it feels' is rather frightening. While familial problems may still be a factor, I don't think the blame should entirely be dumped on her family.

Well, hope some psychiatrist would be assigned to help her along.

I was reading some of the comments below and actually quite disgusting by what I was reading. There was actually a person trying to defend this action! Claiming the girl was neglected by her parents, yet she lived with her grandparents. There are many people in this world that were neglected by their parents but they never murdered somebody! What a pathetic excuse. Please discuss.
^^ I agree with you 100% it's an lame ass excuse murder is murder neglected or not, it's a crime and EVERYONE ELSE that has done it faced the consequences. It's not her parent's fault-- I mean she should at her age, know better. and the fact that she claims she did it just to 'try' it IS HORRIBLE did her grandparents not teach her anything? young kids and teens should be aware of these crimes and that it's illegal and IMO an stupid choice to make. And like you've said I know people that have been in her situation (neglect) or have had it WORSE (imo) but the thought of murder never came across their minds. It's scary what teens and young adults have done lately something has to stop its utterly ridiculous! I mean the poor kid (the 9 year old) the kid was innocent! (correct me if im wrong) its just just-- disgusting and disturbing it makes me sick. :ffs:

Why on earth would she have wanted to know what killing another felt like?

That's just a tad insane.

It is unfair to blame this solely on the fact that she was possibly neglected from her parents as a child.

As said by others here, I've had a few friends who have been neglected by their parents and even ended up in foster homes and the foster parents were even abusive to them as well.

This didn't make them think, 'Oh, maybe I'll kill someone to see what it feels like.'

It just made them realise what they weren't going to be like to their children and such.

Why must people take their shitty childhood and turn it into something bad. Why can't they learn from it and do the right thing no matter how hard a life they had. <_<
