[14/11] Square Enix’s “Artnia” café has FF goodies

Square Enix announced earlier this month that it would be opening a new café and merchandise shop in East Side Shinjuku called Artnia. As you can easily imagine, the café menu comes with a variety of Square Enix-inspired beverages and snacks — including ones from the Final Fantasy series. Thirsty for a Shiva cocktail? How about a Materia cocktail? Or maybe ice cream with a chocolate Buster Sword busting into it? It’s quite similar to Luida’s Bar for the Dragon Quest series.


Artnia will open for business in December, but its menu has hit the web early! Take a look below!

Oh my gosh... >.>;; One extra reason for me to go to Japan soon, seriously. I think this is such a unique idea and the menu is very creative! :3

I'll take a moogle pancake, please! hehe xD Also, this cafe would probably give me a reason to try out some cocktails since I don't drink alcoholic beverages. xD;

I'm pretty sure they're gonna dedicate one of the items on the menu to chocobos! It'd be blasphemous if they didn't!
Maybe chocobo cupcakes... hehehe. :d

&& agreed- the Shinra symbol in that coffee mug looks pretty sweeeeet.

Nice. Want to go to Japan now so badly !

However the only negative is really that they're only really FF VII based. Why not have a Gunblade sundae as well ? Or a Biltzball shaped ice cream ? Come on Square, give the other FF's some love for this awesome cafe.

I'm willing to bet the prices won't justify the novelty of it...presentation always seems to tack at least an additional 50% onto the price at the end.

But just the menu? They're not going far enough. I want to be served by waiters in Turk suits, with FFVII music being played in the background. I also want an Aerith-shaped steak I can stab with a Masamune Blade knife, or a watermelon shaped like Jenova's head in a cooler. Needs more creativity.
