[02/04] Next Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC reveal set for tomorrow

According to Famitsu, this week's issue will have more details on the next round of FFXIII-2 DLC.

Of known and rumored content, we've yet to see Noel's Assassin's Creed costume, Serah's AKB48 outfit, Gilgamesh and Pupu coliseum battles, and of course, Lightning's episode.

With Lightning's content due out in May, I think we can make an educated guess as to which content will be available in April. Stay tuned for more info.

Sorry about that. Im usually busy alot and just sort of post when I can and it comes out too quickly at times.

But I would like this due to Gilgamesh, not only making sense as a coliseum battle, but Im guessing it would end up being funny and epic at the same time.

There’s A Little Bit Of Assassin’s Creed In Final Fantasy XIII-2

Ezio Auditore is in demand. Namco Bandai booked the Assassin’s Creed Revelations lead as a guest character for Soulcalibur V. No, Ezio won’t be a guest character in Final Fantasy XIII-2, but his costume is in Square Enix’s game. Players can dress Noel Kriess in Ezio’s hoodie.

The Assassin’s Creed outfit is an optional item and will be available as downloadable content. While this is the first Ubisoft crossover for the Final Fantasy universe, the two companies have a history of working together. Ubisoft published Star Ocean: Till the End of Time in Europe and licensed Drakengard 2 for the West.

[03/04] Gilgamesh headed for FFXIII-2′s Coliseum!

It looks like or Inter-dimension traveling friend has found his way into Final Fantasy XIII-2‘s Coliseum! Not only that, but there are two new costumes for Final Fantasy XIII-2 on the way for Serah and Noel. Serah’s costume was designed by AKB48 starlet Yuko Oshima, while Noel’s outfit is a crossover from Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed. Take a look at the images from this week’s Famitsu!

[03/04] Gilgamesh and Assassin’s Creed Headline the Next FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 DLC Update​

As expected, the next batch of DLC will contain the long awaited Assassin’s Creed outfit for Noel and more.

Also included will be Serah’s AKB48 outfit “Exposure and Defense” (the one fans had the ability to vote on) as well as a coliseum episode featuring Gilgamesh. We’ll have more details as they come in, but you can expect the content to release on April 10th if history serves correct.

I must say the Assassin's Creed costume looks kinda cool, with the hood covering Noel's face. Serah's one is not bad too.

Gilgamesh looks alright. Noels Assassins Creed costume looks ok, but i think Serah's looks pretty good.

I haven't purchased a single DLC yet. There's one that I got from coupon, and there's Omega I got from the temporarily free promotion thingy. But other than that, none.

I'm only planning to buy the Lightning story DLC for now.

So far costume DLC I think are crap, I don't need a mass effect or assassins creed in my final fantasy game, I want my Final Fantasy Characters in final fantasy games!

I'm liking the costumes... but I'm kinda wishing they were Prada, like the recent images from ArenaHomme+, lol. Lightning in those pics... -drool-

Aw well, I like both. I haven't even bothered with the Mass Effect ones yet... we'll see.

As for other DLC like ACTUAL game content, I don't have any yet because I'm shallow and prefer dressing my characters up like little dolls.

Latest Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC dated for Japan

Gilgamesh, PuPu battles and new costumes.

The latest set of Final Fantasy XIII-2 download content will arrive next week, on April 10, in Japan.
Final Fantasy V boss Gilgamesh is coming to the coliseum.

Defeat him, and there is a 25.15 percent chance he will join your party as a Commando. He will cost 400 yen / 480 Microsoft Points.

Final Fantasy VIII boss PuPu will also arrive.

Defeat him, and there is a 10 percent chance he will join your party as a Medic. A mothership will float above the fight in this battle. As long as it’s active, PuPu will keep respawning. He will cost 200 yen / 240 Microsoft Points.

And finally, there are new costumes for Noel and Serah.
Noel will get the Assassin’s Creed “Ezio” costume teased a while back. It will cost 300 yen / 360 Microsoft Points.

Serah will get the “Exposure and Defense” costume designed by AKB48 band member Yuko Oshima in December. It will be available free of charge.
