I'm alright, thanks for asking. Recently started a new job, which requires me to be asleep before 9 p.m and up by 2 a.m. It's a difficult shift, but I'm slowly adjusting to it. How are you?

I have not! but I've been wanting to for some time. I see it everywhere on tumblr (as gifs and stuff) and I'm already hooked on it. I love shows like that, just never got the chance to actually watch it before. I was thinking of watching the US version called elementary, but i'm not sure if I like the guy who's supposed to be holmes

anyway, i agree. i don't really care for critics reviews for films. i'll watch it and if i like it, I like it. plus, i doubt it'll be bad. it looks superb. it's not only got hardy and oldman in it but i am a big fan of shia labeouf, too--not many people like him but i think he's a pretty good actor.

Yes I have! I saw the trailer a few days ago and thought it looked uh-mazing. it's probably gonna fail in the box office and by film critics standards but again, who cares?

I wanna see that film SO badly. did you know it's based on a true story too? not just the prohibition part either, but the guy who wrote the book based it off of his uncles or somethin' like that.

i'm sure they could make the transition work with some clever planning. i've always been worried whether or not people will understand the walter/randall/marten scenario.

i don't like empire reviews, i'm a total film fanboi. they said lawless was good, but nothing you haven't already seen before. i found out yesterday that we're getting it at work, which none of us expected so i'll be able to see it for free. booya. apparently looper is going to be this generations matrix, it's been getting fantastic reviews everywhere.

i quite liked it too, i certainly didn't hate it as much as most people seemed to. i'm glad wb aren't developing it. i couldn't have stomached russell crowe as roland. i'd much rather see it as a long running tv series a bit like game of thrones.

i can't fucking wait for both of them. the reviews for lawless aren't spectacular so far, but i'll still love it i'm sure. i think joseph gordon-levitt looks really weird in looper though, like a young dennis quaid

they used sound incredibly well in rises. i'm amazed it hasn't been grossing more at the box office. i'd love to think it'll get a couple of oscars based on it being such a massive successful trilogy, but it's a super hero film so of course it won't. what did you think of bane's voice? also, have you heard the newest news about the dark tower films?

I agree. I think it serves my county better if I recognize those flaws and want to avoid ever repeating them. Glad to know we agree on that. Speaking specifically about what we did in WW2 to Japan (after basically forcing them to attack us) is one of the things that makes me cringe when I realize it was my country that did it. Pride and maliciously praising something so devastating to a country (IMO) don't go hand in hand (at least if you're sane). Have you ever seen the anti Japanese posters that circulated during the 40s? there's one of Superman saying you can "slap a Jap" ( http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/20767_285965618436_2167876_n.jpg ) I don't think there's anything to be proud of in the way we treated the Japanese.

i bummed rises, it was my favourite of the three. i preferred begins to dark knight though. i just thought it was fantastically put together all over, even despite the obvious flaws.
