The SB.

Every now and then, the Sb would throw up my previous shout in the text box, followed by a message saying "Invalid response from server".

What's that about?

I can't do screenshots, either... so i cant take a pic and show you personally.

Is this happening after you leave it for a few hours or just when you're chatting in the SB?

Personally, I've had that message if I leave the FFF window up and idle for a few hours or close my laptop and leave it overnight. It gives me a token expired message but a quick refresh clears it up.

Well it use to do it like it did with you, but over the past week or so it's been doing it more frequently, and that's before the SB makes me go idle.

I had the same problem sometimes, I will send something, and then it will something like "Message error" or something like that, but it did get sent to the SB... I just ignored it for the most part.

Yeah I get this every time I close the lid and then come back it just says exactly what you said.. token expired. Yeah refresh works. The same shout popping up happens if you leave it idle for awhile from my experience.
