ok, maybe only one reason for myself to never buy music off of itunes ever again.

They don't have freaking TOOL?!?!?!?!?!?

what up with that?

I don't know who that is so I'll just say...

THEY DON'T HAVE ANY OF JADE VALERIE'S MUSIC BUT ONE SONG! COME ON!

I've heard of Tool, but only through some of the forum members here.

I think they're a heavy rock group of some sorts.

I'm not sure how obscure or known they are, but I think they're probably well known in some circles of some forms of the subculture of Rock.

iTunes is quite strange with what it puts up though. I haven't been on the store for years now, but it has some obscure artists on there, which is awesome to see.

I used to listen to Tool, however my tastes have since changed.

Some bands don't allow Itunes to sell their music because they have more conservative views about the music business and only want their music to be sold in the old-fashioned, tangible way, as like CDs and whatnot.
I'd wager Tool is a case in point..

However, while I visit the Itunes store to sample new music (you can hear 30 second demos of most songs) and read reviews, their prices are outrageous, and I don't have a credit card anyway.
My personal Ipod has 120GB, advertised as being able to hold 30,000 songs. Itunes charges $0.99 if not more per song. Essentially, they expect me to pay $30,000 to fill my $300 Ipod up.

So I still buy cds, and also take advantage of "video to mp3".
