hip hop is for people who actually listen to what is said in a song. Real Hip hop is all about real lyrics, but most of you will disagree since the only hip hop you hear is on the radio....which is pop.
 
pop = popular. any song classified under any genre can come under pop if its overplayed on the radio. Doesnt make it bad, but it can get tiring.

well every1 got a dif. taste in music so u can't rly say there's a bad genre or a good one , but there's good songs and bad songs and tht's under any genre hip-hop , rock , trance etc...

Basically, if your musical library only consist of the music played on the radio:

1. You're a thundering faggot.
2. Don't know shit about music.
3. Need someone else to tell you what music you like.

Most of the music that is played on commercial radios is shit. For example, I love electronic music (trance, hard trance, gabber, hardstyle, psytrance, drum&bass, etc..) but I can't stand the commercial house that is playing on the radio the friday night. That kind of house would be classified as pop IMO.

It's for people that don't have the time or don't want to discover new artists or new genres.
But like I said, some songs are good. I don't really bother with that fact because I don't really listen to the radio. It's hard to draw the line when you like for example oldies (i.e. beatles, Led Zeppelin) because they are played on the radio and their music is good.
