...Well, fuck. Everyone is making threads to get the attention of another person. So, I said "fuck it". I'm gonna make one for myself. 'Cause I was feeling lonely and well...attention deprived. So, yeah. This is my thread and I'm gonna talk to myself.

I hope they do better with Deadpool in the next movie. The Merc With a Mouth... without a mouth?! :rage:

They'd mixed him with too many characters at the end of the movie. At least a secret scene showed him possibly breaking the fourth wall though. Hopefully they'll really bring Deadpool into stuff now.


That said, I prefer the new Marvel movies that share the same universe. I think a Deadpool with the humour of the real Deadpool would be more fitting in the shared Marvel movieverse, and not the X-Men one.

And as for Ryan Reynolds... I didn't think he is a bad choice for Deadpool myself. I can't really think of many people I would cast in the role. He'd have to be heavily scarred now anyway, so casting would only really be based on the personality. Ryan Reynolds, while he almost always plays the funny guy (often with guns) in his movies, I think he does fit with Deadpool's level of insanity and witty remarks. It would just be up to the writer. Hopefully the writer would break the fourth wall with him and really go crazy. I doubt they will though.

Reynolds fits Deadpool much more than he fitted Hannibal King in Blade Trinity at least.
