Halloween

I'm not into Halloween. I can be dark and gloomy any time of the year I want really. People do some terrible things around my hometown during this time of the year (someone tried to kill my neighbor's cat last year), and really it's not as exciting as I thought it would be back when I was small. Plus, my parents never really let me go out to trick or treat because they call it satan worship and I'm just like "whatever". Bottom line: I don't care for it. I may go to a party or two but that's about it.

It seems I may be semi-celebrating this year.

We got invited to a Halloween party and I thought it'd be fun to dress up as something and just to catch up with friends.

Not sure what to go as yet though. I considered picking a Final Fantasy characters outfit on Ebay but then decided to go for something more scary. I don't want to be too predictable and go as a witch or anything. I need more ideas!

I like Halloween because it's really, to me, when we get into my favorite season--Autumn. I love the weather (if it's not raining), the atmosphere, the crisp and brisk smell to the air, the color of the leaves, the tradition, the scary stories, the movies. It all makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. However, I haven't dressed up for Halloween in years, since I was 15, I think. I do have a costume this year, but I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it. I still love the holiday, though.

I used to love Halloween as a kid.. the amount of candy I'd have afterwards was always pretty awesome.. nowadays it doesn't hold much for me though, and really it kind of just gets in the way of my getting everything ready for CHRISTMAASS! (ahh.. I so love christmas time).. but I can still definitely respect the excitement it holds for kids, and I have to admit I even kind of enjoy sitting by the door handing out candy to them.

I also like how there's always been a Saw movie to look forward to every Halloween, well, for the past 7 years or so at least. I usually watch Hocus Pocus on Halloween as well, that movie is hilarious.

In the end though, I pretty much just wanna get Halloween out of the way and start fixing up my house for Christmas.

I also saw a very cool looking gothic snow white costume. Or what about Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty? She still creeps me out! The little girl from the ring is always creepy.

Lol, actually in the city here downtown every Saturday is when it's okay for a girl to dress up like a total slut and not have anyone say anything about it (good God, there are so many clubs down here). First Thursday's, Friday's and Saturday's tend to bring out the sluts.

Do you like Halloween?

No. Well actually a little bit. Only because it's an excuse to eat more candy than usual. Other than that and one more personal reason, I don't like Halloween.

Do you dress up?

Ugh, this is the worst part IMO. I hate dressing up as Batman year after never ending year. It's complete BS. I'm not gonna force my kids to dress up if they don't want to. I just don't like it.

Do you like scary stuff?

Hell no! I get scared very, very easily. The slightest noise will send me into Ninja mode. I explained why I'm like this to one member. Let's just say, scary maze was included in the incident that changed me forever. I'll never be the same again.
