play halo mlg or even just with good players. Its not about luck, its about knowing where your teammates are and devising a plan around that. Halo is a game of teamwork where gears can just be a one man army.
 
Gears is surprisingly tactically deep. Anyway, counterstrike is the definitive online shooter experience.

It can't be done that easily. For that to happen, the one has to be up against a bunch of idiots and have a hell of a lot of luck with him.
 
Its just too bad that radar gives you away and standing still will get you killed by a random object that somebody probably didnt even aim at you. knowing the map is the only advantage and yes, a punch to the back of the head beats everything, which is sad.
Halo online has too much anarchy in it's design. There's no room for anything except reflex and luck. Your master plan is forgotten about 2 minutes into it.

Meh, about the only gears of war 2 I like these days is Horde anyways. Always a blast trying to do 50 waves with 4 other competent people. If you suck at the game, well you'll be the one people are complaining about. There are a lot of tactics used in this game, much more so than I've seen in any other FPS to be honest. It is very team oriented. Now as far as Gears 2 for Online Multiplayer, never been a big fan. I was always in love with Gears 1 multiplayer because of the player matches vs rank matches. Otherwise it's a lag fest in ranked matches.
