Tantalus forum game! :griin:

List games you love, and I tell you what I think about them. Chances are, I'll rant you to death. :mokken:

For example:

Jess says, "I love FFX-2, please tell me what you think about it."
Ringo replies, "[insert rage filled death threat comment here]."

Well, what are you waiting for? Post, damn it. :hmph:

ONE AT A TIME.

Pick a game from that list and have me approve or disapprove it. :mokken:

EDIT: Also, I changed the rules because I'm not writing 50 approved/disapproved messages with reasons to about 50 million games for every post. :hmph:

Okay, I'll play. :ahmed: Croc: Legend of the Gobbos.

I don't care if it's childish as hell, I love it. :wacky:

Ringo approves. :griin:

Croc was a great game. Simplistic in design, but an art direction that you could love and appreciate. One of the PS1 near launch titles, it was easy at first, but as all games should, it got harder as you got closer to the end. Secret levels, solid gameplay, and a great platformer. It wasn't a walk through the park, and it was stiff fun.

Chrono Trigger

Ringo approves.

Chrono Trigger was an amazing game, and is a testiment to how not only JRPG's, but RPGs in general should be. Now days, the magic that Chrono Trigger brings to the table it lost. (Basically, because no one knows how to make a good game anymore.) Filled with a huge world, time travel, and a cast of great characters, what was there not to like?

Chrono Cross

Ringo Approves.

Chrono Cross is one of my favorite games, an in my humble opinion, I believe it to be one of the greatest games of all time. The combat system was great, the story was epic, and filled with plot twists, and every single character has a well thought out backstory.

All in all, it was a great game, and I didn't just beat it once, I went back and beat it multiple times. I would recommend this game to anyone. It's a masterpiece. :mokken:

Jersey Devil. Little purple dude running around punching shit and glidin... this is sounding a lot like Spyro :grumpy: (Which is my next game :monster:)

/going through old PS1 games

Metal Gear Solid

Opinion Please :griin:

Metal Gear Solid

While I enjoy this game, and this series (except for you, MGSIV) the amounts of obscurity and cryptic bullshit Kojima throws in there is unnecessary at times. However, even so, it's a pretty good plot. Also, Snake is awesome.

Never played it, roll again. :mokken:

Tomb Raider

Ringo... Mehs

While I'm not going to call it great, I'm not going to call it bad. It was fun at times, but boring most of the time. I would pop this game in on multiple occasions and try to have fun with it, but I just ended up bored after 10 minutes of playing it. However, the moments in that game that I legitimately had fun, make it enough for me not to hate it. However, it's still boring as shit most of the time. :hmph:

Spyro the motherfucking dragon.

I can't be friends with you if you don't like this game. :|

Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time :rage: The game I'm currently debating whether or not I should replay at some point this week.

Spryo is just fucking fun. The small faults aside, a game that you can pick up and play and just run with is always great. Therefore, I approve, Spyro is awesome. Plus, Dragons are awesome. Twice the fucking awesome. :mokken:

Ape Escape :mokken:

Ringo Disapproves

I fucking hate monkeys. I blame this game for making the entire fucking world think monkeys are funny. -__-

Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time :rage: The game I'm currently debating whether or not I should replay at some point this week.

One of the best Zelda games of all time. It was the first one in 3D and it brought the entire awesomeness of the franchise to the Nintendo 64. While not my favorite Zelda game, it's fucking up there. I can't wait for the Nintendo 3Ds remake. :ryan:

Jade Cocoon

Ringo approves.

A very simple game brought on by a big concept and a fantastic art design. (Same art designer behind Kiki's Delivery Service.) It was a pretty fun game, but somewhat slow at times. That's probably my only complaint about it. :hmmm:
