Oscar, the Bionic Cat

I'm such a sap, I had tears in my eyes as soon as I saw the part where they put that little guy on the floor with his new feet. My cousin posted this on my FB and I didn't believe it at first but wow . . . what a brave and beautiful cat. I wonder what made him lose his feet. :(

He had lost them in a combine harvester, which is so sad. =/

Aw man, that sounds nightmarish but it's so wonderful that, that veterinarian was able to give him a pair of new feet. I'm sure his owners are super relieved and overjoyed. ^_^

It is, and it does sound awful.. but just watching him run around and try climbing the toilet rolls is just adorable.

I know, it was so cute. Especially when the veterinarian was calling to him and he was just sort of like, "Ooh what's over there." He was so eager to just walk around. He sort of reminded me of my cousin's cat, Oreo.

Screw humans who overcome the impossible.. it's something like this, when a simple cat can can achieve a new life, that's truly inspiring. ;.;

Seriously, there's something really special about seeing a dog fight off a disease or hearing about a cat getting rescued from a crumbling building and living. Maybe I'm just a hardcore animal lover. o_O

It's mostly the cats that get me. I love me some pussies. ^o^

Lmao. That just made my night! I love me some bitches, seriously female puppies and dogs are so cute. Especially the little ones. :P

I love the wittle itty bitty kitties that just mew... or the little handicapper cats on SPCA commercials.. Gawd I'm a sap.

Awwwwwwwwwwwww

I welled up, hahaha I'm such a puff

YES. I d'awwd quite hard at those.

I want a new kitten. D;

So do I, so do I. I want one of these beautiful cats:

It's an Egyptian Mau. A gorgeous one at that.

Ooo, they are pretty. But he kinda looks stuck up.

CRY WITH US KELLY, CRY FOR THE NEW HOPE THAT IS OSCAR.

We should start up a fanclub for that cat, he's so damned inspirational. He's going to give hope to people and kitties everywhere.

I think they all look stuck up and pretty but if I get one then they'd be my pretty stuck up looking cat. Granted, they're supposed to be very loyal and super affectionate sweet little things. Not very common though, sadly.

Most cats are loyal to you, it depends on how loyal you are to it. I mothered the shit out of my newest cat (Maybe.. 6 years old now), and he's completely loyal to me, waits for me to get home from work (well, when I did work), sleeps curled up against me, cries if he hasn't seen me for a few hours in the house, and as soon as I call him he comes running.

Some people think they like cats but just don't pay them enough attention, and then get all judgey that cats aren't as loyal as dogs.

My cat loves me as well, she sleeps with me and waits on the windowsil if im out, and greets me at the door when I come home

And if I stay away over night or longer she wont bloody leave me alone when I come back

She hates everyone else though :mokken:

Oreo, my cousin's cat, is crazy loyal to . . . well anyone nowadays. As soon as my cousin got her new puppy, she pushed that sweet fella to the side. He's this brilliant Tuxedo cat, I don't know his exact breed. But he will latch onto you quickly, paw insistently at you for a good rubdown, and he'll just cuddle into your lap just because. I find it a bit sad that she's overlooking him because he's more loyal than the darn puppy and even more insistent on receiving and dishing out affection.

Sometimes dogs, well certain breeds and depending on how they're treated, can be downright bipolar with owners. One minute they can adore you and the next . . . forget it, they're more occupied with getting their own way. A lot of breeds are really stubborn.
