I don't think I've heard anything about the Badge of Honours. Do you equip them instead of a booster? Or are they a completely different thing?

I really need to check the store more often. I haven't heard of half of those boosters you are all listing. I'd just assumed that people that blew people up posthumously were people like me who spend their last seconds alive dropping a grenade when they know the situation is hopeless for them. :D

They are equipped in one of your booster slots. They're really the exact same thing as boosters, but to even out the advantages of it, they give you a disadvantage. Here's a list of the medals, and then a list of the boosters:

Half Blind $10000 Defeat five opponents with blindfire and the Veiled booster.
Get Off My Lawn $20000 Defeat five opponents with the Invalid booster.
Miserly $12500 Defeat five opponents with the Half Loaded booster.
Duck and Weave $15000 Defeat five opponents with the Glass Jaw booster.
Ego Maniac $25000 Defeat five opponents with the Come Get Some booster.

Veiled - No blindfire reticle
Invalid - Half health
Half Loaded - Less bullets in each clip
Glass Jaw - Twice the damage from melee hits
Come Get Some - Opponents can see your name through walls

That's what I do! xD

But even sometimes I can't get the grenade thrown in time.
 
I played some uncharted 2 last night on my new account an I think Im doing better. But err I got disconnected 2 times and it pissed me off. I was like on a 8 kill streak and then disconnected. :gasp: But hey it doesnt matter. Anyone wanna play after? :gasp:
 
I'll have to give those boosters a go and see how good I am with them. If I end up dying all the time then I'm obviously not good enough for them yet. I'm definitely tempted by the exp boosts from the medals.


Adrosaur, I might be playing later, but it won't be for very long. If I see anyone on when I'm on then I'll join in with whatever is happening (unless they are busy in a game etc), but it might be that for the next few weeks I won't see many people as I can only go on for a limited amount of time as I need to head to bed earlier now that my finals are approaching. In less than two weeks I should have more time for a while.
 
Oh okay, so basically more money = level up faster. But...what's the point of leveling up faster then? xD I mean I thought the main point of deathmatch is that you try not to suck. xD I can get all those money and level up faster, but then what? :D I don't know, it's a good idea to use them if there's more expensive weapons available that you're trying to upgrade, but other than that, I don't really see the point of leveling up faster now, especially since I have 95% of the upgrade weapons at my arsenal. I just play and that's that. :)
 
The new skins, and bragging rights, I guess.

While you may not think it's worth it, lots of other people do. Plus, having these boosters on doesn't mean that you'll automatically suck. They're minor changes.

And... well... they are called "Badges of Honor". :D

It's kind of like playing the game on Crushing. You'll do it so you can say that you did it, and some people like a challenge.

I want to get to level 60 so that I can unlock Donut Drake. That's my ultimate aim. After that I won't care so much about experience points or money. :D



The badges of honour don't sound so bad I guess. I'll give them a go.
 
Ugh. As much as I love these new maps, they're just so huge it's almost impossible to get a deathmatch done in under 10 minutes, unless you're running around like a madman.

Naughty Dog really needs to allow more people in a deathmatch, even if it's only for the people with DLC. These maps are way too big for 5 vs. 5 IMHO...

It is true that the new maps increased a lot size wise. I agree with you though, Ari. The match takes a lot more time then it would on a regular map.

More people on deathmatch wouldn't be that bad of an idea.
 
Oh. I noticed when I went on today that I'm not good enough for the badges of honour yet. :sad2: I need to be in my level 50's, and I'm still only level 44. So that looks like it'll be quite some time into the future anyway.

As for the new maps... I haven't played very many deathmatches in them, but I've noticed that they are quite big, and perhaps they could increase the amount of players to fix that. I think it would be too much hassle for them to change the amount of players just for those two maps though.
 
Well just finished watching Avatar! Now im gonna game. So if anyone wants too play Uncharted 2 later just hit me up hehe. I think I shall play Halo 3 one last time before the beta of Halo Reach tommorow! when the beta is over ill have to wait for Reach on september 1st :sad3:

Kaylee I noticed that I cant connect with you and you cant connect with me. But if I invite you you somewhow join perfectly. But If I get disconnected we can not join anymore unless we turn off the ps3 probably :hmmm:
 
I think I'm probably the only one, but I really don't like the new maps on U2. =/ They're too big and it seems whenever the museum is chosen all anyone ever does is camp. That tends to be really irritating because then you really can't do much to get kills. >_<

I played a few matches with some of you before, we should do it again sometime. Unfortunately I'm not that good at all. :sad: But I really don't care because I have fun playing anyways.
 
All I have to say about FFXIII is, PLATINUM! :gasp:

That's right, it's done, and I'm done with it damnit! I'll finish the spreadsheet, then I'm putting it away for good! :awesome:



EDIT: Wait a minute. So Celestial Being, you're Proioxis? I did play UC2 with you one time, but I had no idea who you were. I thought you were a friend of Dan I's actually. :lew:

Ha yea that's my bad. =/ I don't really post a lot here. Its sorta hard for me to keep up with all the stuff that I'm a part of online and normally in this thread we're talking about something that doesn't involve me. D:

On another Uncharted note, I started playing the other day on easy in order to get all the treasures. Still missed a few, but let me tell you this, its so easy to get the kills for the Hammer, RPG, and GAU if you just buy the weapons put on infinite ammo and one hit kills. I feel like I stole some trophies that way. :(

Hahaha, don't feel too bad. I used that one glitch where you can use infinite ammo and one hit kills on crushing mode without having beaten it first. Shhhhhhhhhh.

Also, have you checked out a guide on YouTube or something for the treasures? That makes it so much easier. Unless it makes you feel like you're cheating that way too. xD

In other news, I downloaded the Rika Raja and Daniel Pinkerton skins today! I'm one happy camper right now. With the pack was episodes 1-4 also. They're taking a hell of a long time to download though, so I'll just watch them some other time.

Oh wow Stang congratulations Dude!!! Im almost done too but Ill be playing the Halo reach beta tonight and till may 19th when it ends lol. Ill get 100% soon also. I have about 80 if I remeber. Just need to get a few more items for the treasure hunter acheive/trophy and 5 start every mission and defeat vercingetorix which will earn me all a rank and the exorcist. That leaves me whith easy stuff after haha.

I'm using a guide on GamesRadar for the treasures, so far I've really only missed the hard to find ones.

Does that glitch still work? Cuz I could really use it. :( I'm terrible on Crushing. I got to the train and thats it I'm stuck there. XD
