Most of the things I'm going to show you guys are sketches, doodles, or unfinished works. I use Photoshop and a tablet, and sometimes regular pencils on paper(but rarely). WHY don't I have more finished drawings? Because I'm a slacker ;_;. Backgrounds are my weak point.. as well as hands. I'm still trying to get proportions right, too.

Also, I'd just like to say really quick, most of this stuff is somewhat old. The only most recent one I've drawn is the comic with Amanda in it under my own characters. Well, here goes:

All the above are from one story. Gabriana is a girl who follows her brother, Anji, into the music industry. Keith is Anji's manager. I've put it on hold though, so I haven't done much with it.

My other story is the one I'm currently working on and it's about werewolves. Amanda, my main character, is a human and is apart of a guild that hunts the werewolves in the city:

Thanks a ton ^^. I wish I could explain my own stories word for word, but they're pretty incomplete.. I need to get started on them, seriously. I also think I need to do more funny stuff.. I'm in a funny mood, haha.
 
lol. They are epic :awesome:

I particulary like the Edgar chainsaw one as that means double win for me as Edgar's chainsaw actually ended up being the move that killed Kefka when I played the game. :D

But they're all brilliant! Great art talent you have there, and a lot of them are really funny.

Will keep an eye open for this thread, I will. :D

Argor: Most bosses in the game died from Edgar's chainsaw when I used him in my party, anyway. Lol. He is teh win.

Thanks ^^. Seeing as the artists I'm up against are really good at drawing, I know it's gonna be tough, lol. But I love challenges, hehe. I need to think of what I'm gonna do. It'll be kinda hard, cause I've been in this Lost Odyssey craze for the past week ^^;. But it'll be fun.

I've been drawing since I was a little kid(4/5). My first drawings consisted of blob people.. then I moved up the ladder to sticks.. xD. When I started drawing anime, though, I think I was around 9 or 10.

It'll be fun and maybe it'll draw more attention to the art section so we can make this part of the forum a bit livelier.

Have you taken any art classes? Or read books or anything to help with your art? I'm just curious to see how people have improved over the years. x3

Yeah, lively is good :). Also, I didn't take any special classes, but I did use tutorials back in the day. I'd usually develop techniques from other styles and now I just draw without any references..unless it's fanart. Hands are always gonna be a pain.. I haven't really practiced drawing them a whole lot. I'd really like to learn how to draw my own version of werewolves D:.

Hmmm. I think the tutorial thing is interesting. They only helped me figure out how to color using photoshop because I didn't know what any of the tools were back in the day. Other than that I don't really find tutorials all that helpful.

They say hands are the most difficult thing to draw...Personally I have more trouble with feet strangely enough. XD But if you practice hands you'll get better.

The werewolf thing is interesting. You should research that and start sketching out and designing one. I'd like to take a look when you post it. ^_^

I've been trying to draw my own hands for reference as of late. Stock photos are a big help, too. I need to practice drapery and dynamics, as well.. I have issues there. I think I'll start drawing some of my werewolves tonight, actually. I'll post them if I finish it ^^;.
