In March, in Japan not one but three edition of Final Fantasy: Advent Children Complete will be released, read below to see the differences between each version.

First Edition
Final Fantasy XIII demo, Final Fantasy Agito XIII trailer, and Final Fantasy Versus XIII trailer included on special edition disc.

Playstation 3 First Edition Bundle
PS3 console and special edition disc (with FFXIII demo, FF Agito XIII trailer, FF Versus XIII trailer) included.

Regular Edition
Does not include special edition disc

However...

Square Enix have told this morning V247 that a release of Final Fantasy: Advent Children Complete and its demo of Final Fantasy XIII outside of Japan wasn't a plan.
 
Well, I kind of got the feeling the FFXIII Demo wasn't getting released outside of Japan. It didn't matter either way for me since I don't have a PS3, but I'm sure it's still a bit of a let down for those who could have gotten the opportunity to play it :/
 
Well that is a huge disappointment I really wanted to play a demo. I know that they made the game it's theirs but I mean come on there is no reason to be selfish like that. We love final fantasy in Europe and the U.S.A what a let down. :oy:
 
I own a PS3 so...yes disappointment. I already own AC but I would have definitely traded in for a FFXIII demo. Then again, I can understand why they wouldn't release it overseas. Its probably still in somewhat early development, it takes more time to localize it. And localizing it just for a demo seems a little pointless. Most people wouldn't understand it if everything was in kanji. Anybody on here living in Japan?
 
Well considering that Advent Children Complete only currently has a Japanese release date, they're not going to have a date for a demo which comes with ACC for anywhere outside of Japan yet.

Anyone following FFXIII already knew this.
Anyone who cares enough is importing it. :/

Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete Is basically a release of the movie on Blu-ray format with new scenes being added to the film, including one in which Sephiroth impales Cloud with his sword and then lifts his body up into the air.

It's not a whole new movie, it's being put out on Blu-ray and as a package deal coming up in March in Japan.

Difference is that ACC is on BluRay and has many extended scenes and the age rating seems to be going up (blood/dirt/sword through chest).

See it as the adult version. Though you shouldn't expect PSX FFVII-ish bathtub scenes...
 
thats awesome! cant wait, hope i can download this movie as i do not have blu ray player or a ps3. im a 360 dude
 
Anyone know when it will come out?
Cause I'm going to be in Japan 20 March to 28 August.
But not all is good. There probably won't be a PS3 available for me to play it on. And maybe I don't even need to buy it. Maybe the game will come out when I'm there.
Too bad my Japanese isn't good enough to fully understand the game then. But Oh well. At least I get to see the awesome graphics.

Hmm... I don't really get this...
What do you/they mean with Final Fantasy: Advent Children "Complete" ?
Thought that was only a single movie?
 
It is, but the "Complete" version is basically self-explanatory, it's the complete movie with all the deleted bits put back in, new bits etc. The Advent Children you have most likely watched isn't the full version. :)
 
Okay, i understand the whole three versions and I have been wanting this since i first discovered it was coming out. My brother also promised to by this on one condition that it comes to a UK site. I have only found it on playasia though so do you know when it will be released in the UK? or any .co.uk purchase sites
