I kept hearing about that fighting game from Square in the LTD thread about how Tifa was a summoner and Cloud was her guardian (or is it vice versa..?) but what does that mean exactly? It's not like FFX, is it?

on the fighting game: The game is called Ergheiz. It's some fighting game square created with a bunch of original (?) characters, with some FF7 characters thrown into the mix. From what I remember, the FF7 characters included were Cloud, Tifa, Vincent, Yuffie, Zack and Sephiroth. In the game's storymode, there's a section where you have to fight Cloud (The Guardian). After you beat him, you progress on to fight Tifa (The Summoner). Interrupted By Fireworks is the music that plays during the battles (I think). Two of their alternate costumes were Cloud's ShinRa grunt uniform, and Tifa's cowgirl outfit (they match! ).

Other than that, I can't really say too much about the game. I own it, but I didn't get too far because I didn't realy like it that much

Plus Amano Tifa. And no, crossdressing Cloud is not his third outfit.
Also, technically, you don't have to, but rather get to fight them, based on how well you do. But yes, Guardian Cloud, then Summoner Tifa, as Interrupted by Fireworks plays.

The game is interesting though. Especially dungeon mode, though it's irritating at times.

I have it and I like it! it is so great to play as Tifa and kick some ass.
And I loved Dungeon Mode.

Well, there will be a twist, obviously. Jill is just way too cool to be dead. Ada was supposedly "dead" in RE2 wasn't she? She came back in RE4 and Umbrella Chronicles.

reading the LTD debate thread and I can help but to laugh a little.
The Clerith don't know a thing about marketing and movies.
I have always loved movies, I have scripts of my favorite movies(that can be downloading from the internet because they are submitted for Oscar Consideration) and they are not LITERAL, not everything that is written is in the final product,the Director have the right to change what he please in the moment.
And about commercials,the original source doesn't create them! just watch some trailers of movies, for example "In The Mood For Love" a chinese movie, the spanish trailer talks about a "passionate, consummated love" and the love is never consummated.
Why would the game and movie be an exception to this?

I'm close to the end of the Crisis Core main story. And squee for the scene when Cloud goes to Tifa lying unconscious. You don't hold, stare longingly and tenderly stroke the face of just a simple friend. And good for Zack noticing Cloud has issues he needs to deal with Tifa ^^

I actually feel..iono... neutral about the "closed" thing though; I was starting to get bored. But yeah, if we have any random thoughts about the the LTD again, we can post here. I'm not sure if I'll be as active as before though.

Oh well; I admit it was going around and around with the same info being repeated from both sides. But there are always people discovering FFVII well after it was made, so it'll always bring about discussion, even in the future.

Damn it, I can't find that fanfic where Tifa dies and ends up in Spira with the FFVII cast playing out the FFX character roles; I really liked it too T.T

Does anybody know what story I'm talking about?!

The reason it closed is because senseless sarcasm was being thrown back and forth, insults were being tossed by both sides and the whole bloody thing was just being repeated over and over again. We got sick of it and we'd prefer it NOT be on our boards anymore. We're not ACF. Get used to it. If you have a complaint, I'd rather you not trash-talk mods or our decisions in this thread. Take it to another mod or admin. I'd also appreciate it if you'd stop trash-talking the Cleriths as well. I asked for this to be stopped previously. This club has nothing to do with the LTD or Cleriths for that matter, so stay on topic or I start infracting. Thanks.
