SotW ideas

I noticed that there has been a week where there were few entries so I figured why not come up with a list of themes that we would like to see. So if you have a request for the SotW theme post it here and maybe one of the mods will use it as a theme.

I would like to see a theme on physical technology.

Actually, I was toying with the idea of bringing that up in HQ a couple of ideas. But since someone else is thinking along the same lines, yes, I'm in agreement and I'll definitely bring this up.

Sounds like a nice idea, many foruns have this kinda threads for it. We could have a poll or something and vote for a certain theme we would like to see in the X week.

For an sotw, I'm always a fan of VS ex: FFVII VS FFVIII, Deepground VS SOLDIER, Dissidia- Heroes VS Villains. etc...

That being said, at least it'll be more organized if we do this separately. >.>

Mah suggestion:

1.) Architecture
2.) Text
3.) Events of the Year 2008
4.) History
5.) Obscure movies or bands
6.) Non-rectangular sigs

Let's get away from the anime, Pokemon, and currently blockbuster movies, pleeezzze. D=

It'll be basically the same, but there will be around 4 or 5 set themes to choose from each week even if none are suggested.

how about a inuyasha or final fantasy 7 themed s.o.t.w and for a.o.t.w a flag of the country they are from.

Yes this is how I've seen it in other GFX forums as well, and I think it's a good idea. It gives everyone (GFX artists themselves as well) a chance to choose which theme they would like to work with through a voting process. I've played with the idea for awhile now too, but I wasn't sure if it was necessary. But hey, can't hurt to try, eh? We may even have more entries coming in when this is implemented.
