So, My names says FFMusician, let's put it to the test, I want you all to post a song from a Final Fantasy game you would like me to play. Now, the rules are simple, I will take up to Three requests at a time, You must be patient, Please do not get mad if I cannot find the tab/chords for the song/theme. So, anyway, Request away!:jon:
 
Ok, I will start it, How about Clash on the Big Bridge from FFXII or V if you find it somewhat more easy to play it.

How will you going to show us? Upload to Youtube?
 
Yes, Youtube would be the simpliest form to go about it. So, number 1 is Clash from FFXII or V. Gotcha, off tab hunting!

<Edit> Would it also be known as the Gilgamesh Theme? As in it plays when you fight him?

Yeah. Clash on Big Bridge is Gilgamesh's theme tune. And a great one at that, I'm sure you'll have fun doing it!

Can I ask what instrument you play? I'm sure I may have read it in your welcome thread or something, but it's slipped my mind.

Anyway my request... :holyshit: Lots of choice! I'd suggest the Moogle theme or the Chocobo theme, but until I know the instrument I can't really give one out like that.

Nice idea for a thread btw. So long as your'e not too busy, I wouldn't mind posting up some requests and hear how they turn out. :)
 
I play Guitar, I have an Electric and an Acoustic, and I'm sure a majority of the Tabs I find have been Transcribed from piano and etc. As long as the tabber knows the notes you can transcribe just about anything! Ok, so the First Request is Gilgamesh Theme, Currently working on the intro O_O O_O O_O......... So, there are two more slots to fill.
 
Hahah, that's mighty brave of you to offer this. I think that this thread, personally, is more suited to the Square-Enix Music part of the forum. Good luck to you and I look forward to seeing your endeavours. ;D

Aaah , See, I thought about putting it there to begin with, but then saw music studio so I thought better safe then sorry you know.
 
Ok. I'll request the Kingdom of Baron theme from FF4. If you haven't heard it before (I dont know what FF games you have played), then find it here http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=usp_zi488ow.
It kicks into it really about 15 seconds in.

Not as fast paced as Gilgamesh's theme, and I don't know how such a tune would sound played on a guitar. But for some reason I've always wanted to hear it done differently. If it's a bad choice, I'll understand. I just LOVE that theme.
 
It's not a bad choice, sounds awesome, but no-ones tabbed it yet :X. I'm sorry, really am, it was a good choice, I'll keep looking to see if I can dig anything up, but it might be best for you to think up of a new request while I do it.

SUCCES IS MINE!!! WHOO WHOOWHOOOOOHOOO. I managed to find the Baron tab!! So, I reckon that fills up the three slots considering the request from Rukia again. So, the line up is as of now.

1st Request (And the longest to learn :P ) Gilgamesh Theme.
2nd Request : Kingdom of Baron.
3rd Request : Dark Messenger Kujas Theme.

So, But keep on piling up the requests, these are going to be the first that I record and upload, the order,not to sure yet. Gilgamesh may be the last.

How will you be showing us that you've played these pieces, by the way? By video?
 
Yes, I will record myself using my webcam and posting it on youtube once I feel confident enough about it to do so.
 
Hey! What do you know! A song I have been practicing...some :X. @ Barack - Waltz for the moon I'm afraid is a no-go. I found a tab, but it requires Guitar Pro to use, and you have to buy it, which I can't right now. Maybe in due time, but not right now, I'm sorry.
 
Ah! Man, sweet, slight problem, I can't read sheet music yet. I have a site which can teach me, so if you wanna be a little patient then I can eventually play it for you.
