Sin = Cloverfield

this is just a comparison i drew up on my recent playthrough of the game.

Sin has a lot in common with the recently popular monster movie star Cloverfield.

1. They're both big obnoxious monsters who are destroying everything.
2. They both release parasitic like animals who kill people for them.
3. They're both ocean dwelling (sorta)
4. The director of Cloverfield described the monster as a 'frightened baby reacting to a new enviornment.' If you think about it, Sin is kind of the same thing. Jecht can't control what he's doing so he attacks as if he is confused i guess?

idk. these are just some random parallels i drew up. if anybody has any comments, let me attem.

Omg. Hahahah so true. I remember watching clover feild and when i saw the little things jump off his body, me and friends immeditly said "OMG SIN SPAWN!!!"

Yeh I was like to Sum41 when he was watchin cloverfield "da monster is like sin because all of da things dat come off it like sin spwans"

Yes, I too see the glaringly obvious similarities.
They are both created as weapons to oppress and control people.

People believe that the only way to beat them is with the final summon.

They are both big beasties, who will stop at nothing to quench their unquenchable lust for blood. They will murder entire cities on a whim.

They both charge their laserzzz.

They are both insominiacs just responding to postmodren criticism of their respective genres.

I'm shocked that SE didn't sue the producers of Cloverfield for making such an obvious rip off of FFX and Sin.
 
Did anyone else see the drawings that came out some time before the movie? Some of them look just like Sin....for example

I think this picture and the others like it were meant to lead people off the right track which is a strategy that the makers were quite familiar with (when the movie was being filmed they handed out slush-o tee shirts and said that that was the name of the movie.) And/or this is just open admission of ripping the ideas behind the monster.
 
that monster does look like sin, if not uglyer lol, and those little louse things do look like sinspawn.... oh no, movie makers are fans of FFX, this is all the proof we need
 
One thing unrelated to FFX though who though cloverfields ending left alot to be thought about how this could be true for there are giant crabs and squids being discovered all the time.

but you forgot one thing!

FFX = Epic

Cloverfield = Crappy movie that sucks.
